I say yes to a return of midibuses to Singapore's bus fleet. Let's be real, some roads are way too narrow for "standard" 10.5m buses to navigate, not to mention if demand for an area is too low and waste the capacity of standard buses when it can be deployed elsewhere. The only problem is that midibuses are considered "too niche" for deployment in Singapore, since their only real use will be navigating around private housing estates, where majority can afford their own private transport. Plus, opening up a new category of buses will mean more work for bureaucrats as they "standardize" various terms and categorization (maintenance costs, trained personnel to drive or repair the buses, and so on). However, this is one area where I think having this added category outweighs the cost, since it means that more standard buses will be available for deployment instead of making BCs imitate driving through an obstacle course. Less avoidable accidents, less costs needed to repair the buses. Isn't that a good thing?

Just get the 10m Enviro200EV and BYD flat floor 9m for 42,92,140 & 825..No need BC with BDVL to drove those PC plate C6..

Ehhh no LTA will never get 9M buses unless the private operators Like the BYD minibuses Not SG plates but a standard private buses plate number loan from BYD(?)

@TIB1234T from what I remember the bus starts from the bus stop outside chinese temple then the route will turn in to bedok gardens area up the slope
