AS for the Mail Trucks my shop use to do the repair work on them in my Area ( Indiana ) when they would bring them into the shop after they broke down and only fix what is needed to get them running again . I use to go over a list of Safety problems with the admiinistrator and they would say thanks but just get it running for us Thank God none ever caught on fire they dont want to spend money !!!!

That's because the USPS mail trucks are Jeeps. Jeep used to be a very reliable vehicle back in the WW1, WW2, and Korean War days. But, sadly, they've gone way downhill since then in quality.

Now, I'm not one to comment here often but I wanted you to know that your sense of justice and fairness resonates with me, thank you. I worked in the Multi-Billion Dollar travel industry for a well-known company that was about to go public. I was with them for 6 years and I was planning to retire with that company. In just 4 months my future is up in flames, because of the travel industry as we know it is over and going to be vastly different for the next 2 years. Thank god! they recognized how awful the situation was going to be and they gave me a nice severance package. One week's salary for every year I worked for them. Last week I filed for unemployment and I'm sure I won't see any payments for quite some time. But I remember one of your videos telling me how you are learning to live more modestly and how much we used to waste. I'm cooking, mending, and using dish rags like my grandmother used to use. Please keep up the good work and continue to let everyone know how dirty our government is and that we need to get angry and demand justice. Be safe and well.

Vic -- The Electoral College was put into the Constitution for very good reason. Without it, there would be five or six states that would essentially determine the President for the rest of the country. The USA is a republic and not a democracy, which our Founders understood. [Changing that requires a constitutional amendment, which is not likely anytime soon.]

The General Motors/Grumman LLV (modern postal truck) has to do 17 miles per day, at 13 miles an hour, starting and stopping 500 times in the process. The truck's brakes are applied for 40 minutes a day, and it runs for 6.5 hours every day -- much of it at idle. Six days a week, forever. If your buddy's F100 had to do that, it would have burst into flames a LONG time ago. Mechanics are not the problem Vic.

I just have one issue with the different topics here. The Electoral College had a purpose when put into existence. That purpose is layed out in the Federalist Papers. It ultimately was enacted to prevent a dictator from becoming president, due to foreign influence. Now, it started showing signs of failing in the 2000 election. But, it didn't ultimately fail until 2016, which was 212 years after it was put in place. It ultimately failed, because our country has out grown it, population wise. Our founders could never have imagined that there could ever be a 40 million person difference in the smallest and largest state. A vote in Wyoming has the same value as 3 votes in California. So, 2 out of every 3 votes in California, have no meaning in the Electoral College. There are two ways to fix this. Either have a Constitutional Convention on removing the EC, or have the Convention on revamping the proportion of electors that each state receives in the EC. The latter would result in taking away the ties between how many Senators and Representatives each state gets, and how many electors they get, in the EC. Article I Section 2 Clause 3 says that representation in The House of Representatives can not exceed 1 for every 30,000 in population. If that was the number actually used today, California would have 1,300 members in Congress. That's not a possible scenario. But, if that were the standard for the amount of electors each state gets, it would make every person's vote count equally, no matter what state they live in. Changing our Constitution isn't an easy process. I think changing the way the EC is put together would be easier than eliminating it.

what ticks me off is that the national debt keeps rising and there's no end in sight, it looks like we will never pay it off, in the last 40 years, from Jimmy Carter to Donald Trump it's gone up from almost $1 trillion to over $26 trillion. dont like the electoral college? what if 73% of the area of the us voted for one guy but lost because people in the other 27% of the nation voted another way. there is a value to vote count as well as the area that the votes represent. The electoral colllege is not perfect but a strait popular vote would leave all the people in the rural areas to submit to the city policys

The electoral college thing is iffy. The reason it was put in place was so that states with larger populations couldn’t bully states with smaller populations into electing presidents whose interests were only for those big states. If we were to go off the popular vote, California, NY, Washington, Texas, etc. would be the only ones deciding who becomes president.

My country has not had electoral college for over 25 years, it just does not belong to the modern era.. The other thing I wonder is physical cheques, why are they still a thing unless using them on very expensive purchases for safety reasons maybe.. And to avoid random seizures of cash by 'bad cops' when going to buy a car because the burden of proof seems to be reversed in the states on 'civil assett forfeiture' appallingly...
