This is exactly what happens! The cashier always runs into a problem or one customer wants to stand there to have a big conversation not even thinking about the people in back of them. People do suck sometimes, there are a lot of good, considerate people out there but some of them..🤦‍♂️

Aldi has checkout down pat. Big UPC markings that scan so fast that you see people that can't empty their cart fast enough. That's what makes me happy.

The people working at the grocery store I go to are oblivious.. 🙄

People have no consideration for others... Many times,since I had kids etc I would always show up with a full cart.. i would always let someone with one or two go ahead of me... No common courtesy anymore..

If I have 1 or 2 items and I see someone with kids and a full cart, I usually let them go ahead of me. Patience and courtesy goes a long way. I just imagine them having to drag the kids through the store and are just dying to get home.

Vic you are so right with your rant here! Yesterday, i was at Walmart and i was behind a woman. as her last items on the conveyor belt were scanned by the checker, i started placing my items on it. The woman's total was over a hundred dollars. She seemed to have trouble with the payment. A few minutes later, the checker says to me "Excuse me, sir. You might wanna move to another checkout lane. This is gonna be a while." I had to take everything off the conveyor belt, put it back in my cart, and move to another lane, where i waited another 5-10 minutes to get up to the conveyor belt to start unloading my cart. WTF!!! I was TICKED THE FUCK OFF!!!! I had no problems paying for my things, and i was glad to make it outta there!!!! Reminds me of a comedy bit your fellow Italian funnyman Sebastian Maniscalco did about the checkout lane, and how people take forever to pay for their items. This one guy was seemingly all done, and then he says "also, i need a pack of cigarettes, please!" Then the checker needs to walk over to the cigarette section and get him whatever brand/style he wants. It really ticks the people in line off!! Toooo funny!

I use to live in Mexico Missouri and I can tell you a couple of crazy incidents 1) Almost every time I'd go to Aldi's there would be one register open and a long line, every time it would get to me being the next person in line, then they would finally open up another lane, while I was about 9-10 back, why didn't they open it then 2) When I use to work at Wal-Mart, I came in one night as a customer, I seen they had maybe two lines open, but the lines were long, and there were managers and assistant managers at the front of the store, just sitting up front talking, I thought about calling corporate, but knowing the political bull crap of work, nothing would have been done, because managers and assistant managers most of the time get away with this crap, and are buddy buddies with the higher ups. Since I moved to Florida I haven't had these problems,

what ticks me is the reverse, when i enter a grocery store with 2 or more lanes open then later when i return to the front to check out, all but one have turned off the number light like a truck scales putting up the "closed" sign when traffic gets backed up. "oh sir this lane is closed" and yet 10 people in line at the 1 open lane.

I know what that's like. I usually go up to register with only one item, or very few items to pay for. The person at the cash register lets me cut in line to the register, but people at the line get annoyed when I do. They're polite about it, but I can tell that they're like (roll their eyes) *"do you mind?! There are people who have food to buy! Why don't you wait in back of the line!"* If I had more food to buy, I wouldn't mind waiting back in line. But since I have so few things I have to pay for, why should I have to wait in back of the line, you know?
