I would be lying if I said the thought of running for Congress isn't tempting. I could set myself up for a while. $174,000 a year, is $14,500 a month. I don't know how they are paid, if say 40 percent is taken out of their checks that would be $8,700 a month. If I accomplished a few things, that's more than most in office have accomplished.

You don’t know how badly I want to see Vic take this straight to the Senate and give them all a piece of his mind! You speak for so many of us, Vic. Your passion is clearly on display here! It is incredible that other nations immediately implemented programs to pay worker’s wages through subsidies to the employers directly to prevent them from losing the predictability of a regular paycheck, but our politicians, all of whom continue to receive our taxpayer dollars in their wages and benefits packages, take so many months to argue over how many crumbs they should let drop to the floor for the rest of us! You are certainly not the only one ticked off about this.
