Brother I completely understand. In 3-18-20 I had what is called a retinal detachment. In short I went blind in my right eye. I had insurance payed by my employer. Had two horrific surgeries on my right eye. Then my employer says “we gotta let you go. We can’t afford to pay your insurance if you are not bringing in income. SO. 6-30-20. Not only did I loose my job. I lost my insurance. Now I gotta fight like a fuckin looser for help but I can’t even get the rest of my surgeries because I DONT HAVE INSURANCE. who the fuck is going to hire me when I’m legally blind. Then I realize that the unemployment I was getting , they weren’t takin taxes out. WTF. So now I fuckin owe. I’m 54 and have been working since I was 18. You know what makes the term limits argument moot? GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS

There’s 2 ways it can be done: 1/ Congress has the power to limit their terms but that will never happen, 2/ article V of the constitution allows the states and their legislatures to vote on term limits. Legislalatures of 2/3 of the states must propose amendments; 3/4 of the states must ratify them. It’s not easy and involves a lot but that’s the only way it will or could get done.

Actually a convention of governors of the states can override anything the federal government does by making an amendment through majority vote of the governors of the states.

Ridge Whitesoul I don’t know of any statute or constitutional language that states as such. It’s state legislatures. I’m sure governors are involved in the process.

Thats why i like being around ppl that think like me . Maybe not exactly as i think but darn near close to it . I have one friend that i feel we can speak freely about our opinions . We both share our grievances about who we can't stand and have a great laugh . I've known him since hi school and he can confide in me as i in him . Sometimes we get to laughin so hard we can't stop . The one theme we keep encountering is that nothing goes smooth anymore . Try to do something simple and there's always something strange that happens . And it's usually caused by a nutcase . An native American Indian elder gave some some excellent advice one time . And that is this .... When someone trys to destroy the path you are on , make yourself like water , become the water , and make a new path . In other words , he was telling me to avoid the nutcases . Not good quoting Marx because all he did was create an unachievable ideal that has been used to bind and murder countless people. Try Marcus Aurelias or Plato. Socialism is the most worthless political system on the planet. Research American history, the first few colonist were socialist, the all died out. Each person must be held accountable to them-self for them-self. It is called self reliance.
