Ticon Chill Blocks - Welding V Bands

So this thing is amazing.
We've been welding V bands for years and they are a pain to welding without Warping...
The Chill Block is designed to bolt to the V band while welding and draws the heat away. Not only preventing the V band from warping, by keeping the material cooler, it welds nicer keeping the nice gold appearance.

That's a pretty cool product.. I work in a brewery and we use stainless triclamp connections all the time.. this would definitely help us.. we use aluminum blocks for sure, but it would definitely be better if we could clamp it...

I've always had the best luck pulse welding triclover fittings, or use an orbital welder and doing an autogenous weld. They're always tricky to get full pen and an attractive weld though.

I'm guessing it's a pretty penny, its precision, its copper, and its ticon. I mean their purge plugs arent exactly $19.95 haha but, from the looks of it, they would be well worth it for turbo guys
