Awesome video!!!!! I grew up fishing the Kankakee River back in Illinois, I didn’t know of the origins back there, but we did use those baits for sure!!!

Super interesting episode. I remember buying Mirror lures at a place called Golden Triangle in South Florida in the early 70s.

Really enjoyed this and I’ve been a big fan of MirrOlure since being introduced to inshore fishing after many years chasing freshwater species.

I had a couple mirrolures hanging around from the 90’s and I never caught with them. Didn’t really know how to use them. Since watching your channel and learning the nuances of how to use them, I’ve done really well and the 17/27mr are now my confidence bait. I’d like to see L&S produce saltwater wake baits. Currently modifying freshwater versions. Great vid

Great Video CA. I grew up on the east coast of Florida( St. Lucie inlet ) fished many nights slinging the 52m series with my dad catching huge snook and trout, still have all those same lures.

Around 2005-2006 I was working at West Coast powersports in Clearwater (Honda/Suzuki dealership)'I was a motorcycle salesman and I believe it was Eric that I sold a Honda CRF 50 right around Christmas time I believe, and the next day he brought me a box of around 7-8 "experimental" lures!!! If it wasn't him it was somebody that worked there great people

I’m a redfish guy, but I prefer to throw hard baits to them. Your EZ money 17mr has caught a lot of them and has really helped build my confidence with plugs. Just ordered some 27s in that color along with a few more. I promise you they are not just trout baits.

Awesome feedback and yes that old school Emerald Green color definitely fools the redfish and specks

Salty Saul! Channel 13! What days those were. Still throw those double props more than anything else. Nobody else does.
