Yep. No wedding ring or engagement ring was offered when my guy proposed. I bought our wedding rings in a pawn shop. He only wore his on special occasions I shoulda known better. 10 years later, I called it quits. Congrats, Monique! He sounds like a keeper!

I remember when you got it for your birthday, but I didn’t know you picked it out yourself!! My husband and I do the same thing, because jewelry is just too expensive to just “kinda” like something. Every girl/woman should own a piece of Tiffany jewelry. When my daughter turned 14 I bought the first of many Tiffany rings for her. I stopped once she had a love in her life that took over jewelry buying for her. And please don’t apologize, happy joyous occasions should be celebrated. We actually need more of that in this world. You look gorgeous today & the ring, to die for. My Mr of 3 yrs (we’re both 61). My “boyfriend” at the time was adamant about putting a ring on my finger so quickly I found it amusing. After we married he explained he wanted to make sure the world knew I was not available, that we belonged together. We are spiritual people and believe in spirit messages so 111 is special to us. He designed it with 11 diamonds on each side of the main stone. He put so much thought into it while I would have been happy with a pawn shop antique but I love it and love him💕💓💞❣️

Beautiful ring! And you are right about soap and sanitiser making your stone cloudy - I too have an aquamarine, and it gets cloudy very quickly. I've had mine for around 20 years now. I have a tiny ultrasound jewellery cleaner, and it keeps it sparkling so well! I'm always very aware that the stone can be scratched if care isn't taken with cleaning, so don't use anything else to clean it. I have taken it to the jewellers a few times to get the claws checked etc, and they always give it an extra special clean. I know you'll enjoy your ring for many years as I have.
