The onion routing protocol, it's not as anonymous as you think it is. Whoever's in control of the exit nodes is also in control of the traffic, which makes me... the one in control.

@@inqmusician2entry node only has Ur ip. Only way for your traffic to get intercepted is if all 3 nodes are owned by the same person which is pretty unlikely.

You are telling reasons why "Tor" is not great, but bringing up things that are not related to it, like public information of the user, or malware in the pc. It's not tor related problems.

the only anonymity tor provides is your endpoint, but most data collection and tracking is done through sessions, which was her point. If you're logged into your google account while browsing, google tracking analytics that are installed on almost every platform will still be able to track your activity, regardless of your endpoint.

Yes. Onion router is basically a VPN but instead of using dedicated server located in different Country it uses random user's PC as a host and hopping from one host to another...

Tor is great, but your ISP may still know that you are using VPN. With hackers becoming smarter, Tor may be soon outdated.

A vpn is different than tor, and you shouldn’t use a vpn while on tor.

@@kumardigvijaymishra5945not how it works. Only reason to use a VPN is if tor is illegal where you live. But using a tor bridge is still objectively better for that purpose. Using a VPN is only better at getting you caught, they are shady asf apart from maybe mullvad if you buy it with crypto or cash to remove any and all links to you.
