just a note, these salaries are for senior developers in San Francisco, in most places outside of this region from junior to mid-level will make somewhere between 50 to 90k depending on what part of the world they are. and Unfortunately, Junior developers 99% of the time won't have the chance to work remotely.

Hey Tiff! Thank you for making all these useful videos! I am really curious about your first week/month in a tech position? How was it to start? Did you have support from your colleagues? What was your first task ? What was difficult for you? Sorry if my questions are not related to this video. Hi Anna! Thanks for your questions! I think this would be better explained in a video but I will do a short form.. I had two very different experiences at two companies for how my onboarding went. The company I am at now though it was super great. They didn’t expect me to come on and know everything. There was people I could ask for help which was huge. It is scary onboarding at a new company of course but those feelings do go away quickly. I have learned to embrace those feeling of being uncomfortable recognizing that everyone feels like that when starting out and they do go away! These are awesome questions though and I will make a video going through the full onboarding process 💕

I can't find info to my friend, maybe you can help me? or maybe you already talked about that? She is having a hard time to handle things with her daughter and finding a remote job will be so helpful. She worked on the past as tech support for HP, and she is willing to learn something else too, I know her, and I think digital marketing could be her thing, can you point me or create a video talking about that kind of jobs, just to get informed? I can provide her the material to study anything, but a few mins talk about what is every job of those will be helpfull to her to decide which path to take (I'm very bad talking as you see hehe) Mostly videos in youtube are only about "how to make money without knowing anything" I'm looking smething more about tech support nowadays, marketing, and any other that is a easy starting point for someone starting again in this era. Thanks in advance!!!

I am presently getting reacquainted in programming in C/C++/C#/Python/JavaScript. Hopefully I can start a business building/automating cloud builds and some software development on systems for reporting/gui logins for reading data from dbs on web pages and other corporate needs. @@tonysoprano6265 For web development, I tend to strongly recommend Apple. Even the entry-level Apple Air would do. Apple laptops have a very solid build quality, AND the operating systems runs on top of a POSIX (Unix/Linux) OS. You will end up using the terminal quit a bit, as most of the servers you deal with will be running Linux. Using the terminal/command line is your super-power as a web developer and learning to navigate it should not be undervalued. Try to get 16GB of RAM at least.

Most entry jobs aren't remote. It's possible but pretty rare.

Anyway, it's like 4 or more times the salary of a doctor, 9 times the average and 15 times the minimum salary. But still like 70% less of what an american would made because of being american.

0:43 ...Yes..... a digital nomad. Until he lifts his hands for a second and his laptop slides right down his legs and into the water. :D $160,000 for a Software Developer...!!! Well, unless you're at a state government job in Idaho, wearing multiple hats as an Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer & SDET and making less than a third of that.
