I was thankful as an American and huge NHL fan to be stationed along side Canadians in Kuwait in 2015 when Tiger and a bunch of other hockey and football players came out to visit their troops and they played deck hockey with the deployed guys. I was glad I had that day off and could enjoy watching it all.

Would see him back in the day at Burnaby 8 rinks while I was scorekeeping there. I remember one time he showed up a little bit after a game had started and he skated up to me and said' sign me in, you know who I am"? Lol! I told him to back in the day I'd have thought he'd have made an excellent head coach in the NHL but I guess coaching wasn't for him. Last I heard he moved to and now resides in Calgary.

I met Tiger twice, He came to Goodyear and I intalled 4 new Wranglers on his Jeep. The second time he came back with a flat and I fixed that, When I put the jack down I was in front of the Jeep , I saw him talking to the mechanic he said watch this and he accelerated toward me , I didn't flinch . It must of been the summer of 79.

The Tiger was always worth the price of the ticket every night. Went to many many many games while he played in Los Angeles and loved every game. The Tiger could turn the arena into a frenzy agitating and grinding it out on the ice. And the Tiger was an eve bigger agitator on the road which shows he was a gamer every night.

@@elvicare35 He sure did on November 22 of 1978 the night before Thanksgiving. Fotiu spent the game running Leafs and he went after Dan Maloney who wouldn't fight and went for the takedown and at the end of a 3-3 game Fotiu nailed Williams and went to fight him and Williams went in back of the linesman! Then in 1982 Fotiu knocked out Kevin McCarthy and no Canucks tried to get Nick who destroyed their Team Captain! Tiger was on the ice when Fotiu decked McCarthy at center ice knocking him out cold and the Tiger did NOTHING! I remember thinking what a spot picker this Tiger Williams is!
@paulduke943

I've posted this on other videos so I apologise in advance. If Tiger Williams wouldn't fight Nick Fotiu, then he wasn't the only one. Dave "The Hammer" Schultz was scared to death of taking Fotiu on, which he has admitted to in his book. Fotiu was (I believe) a 3-time New York Police Athletic League heavyweight boxing champion before he totally stuck with hockey. I wouldn't fight Nick Fotiu (or Tiger) now, and both guys are around 70 years young and in good shape.
