Dogs are used to instill confidence as well as be a place of comfort for baby/ young animals that bond doesn't go away and the dog usually gets to visit the foster kids.

It's actually really common with abandoned big cats to put them with dogs. A lot of dogs have a really strong mothering instinct and they'll take on other animal babies. Cheetahs in particular are such nervous animals they get dog emotional support friends and are raised together from babies.

Tigers, lions and the like: the huge cats, practice quite tough love. The goldie most likely has to bite them at the neck or something to tell them to knock it off. The tigers have respect for the doggo because its their adoptive parent. Go check out Dean Schneider on YT. He is the dad of a whole lion pack in south africa, among other dangerous animals, and the lions affectionately nudge him around. Its quite frankly astonishing

That's how big felines communicate amongst themselves. They are playful and a bit rough. It just looks scary because they're a lot bigger and heavier than the dog but they don't actually mean their adoptive parent any harm. Obviously, the dog is trained to bite or nudge them back to let them know she's not in the mood to play.

Absolutely, many animals like big cats and cheetahs benefit greatly from confident dogs as emotional support animals and some even act as service dogs for other dogs or other species that need some extra help like with deaf or blind animals for example.

@@soggyciggy it really is very rare case, not all animals who are in big families are left behind and seek another different animal as their birth giver and protector when a little baby, i guess it’s more accustomed to one time only and that one time happened right there, there was a vid idk if you seen of a couple raising a tiger or sumthing like that since a cub then as it grew bigger I guess they had let go of the cub and they had met again in the wild after many years and the tiger just immediately ran and cuddled and hugged with their old owners or parents you can say

Its super interesting that even when fully grown they still are so affectionate with their adoptive dog mother because from my knowledge typically once Tigers reach adulthood they usually completely separate from their mother and avoid each other. However, it seems like the dog rubbed off on the Tigers a bit and they all still are attached to her even though they look like they are fully grown now.
