Tapp Brothers here! Today we have a hamstring stretching routine for beginners, this routine is a great way to open and release your tight hamstrings. Many of us have tight hamstrings from sitting long periods of time and not actively stretching. Tight hamstrings can hold us back with our movement, acro, and daily activities. Give this routine a try and train safe!

Great video! I've recently started running training and was challenged by tight quads and hamstrings. I've done this routine twice and wow! I've already noticed an amazing difference with my range of motion, reduced fatigue and a general 'loosening' up with my hams and glutes. Thank you so much Tapp Brothers 😁👍

Nice routine! The hamstring stretch on the ground is a must do for beginners. If I would say only one thing to improve it, is to perform 1/2 minutes of myofascial release (foam rolling or other) before of it.

I was thinking about adding the foam rolling in there, great for a warm up and a quick increase flexibility. However, I wanted to reduce the amount of equipment and timing for this routine. But great comment and addition

Thanks Mr Tapp.. Been searching for a super beginner routine for a while, and your video was perfect.. A lot of other videos were either sitting which I don't want to do because of my bad back and I can't even get into the starting position, others also don't give you a regimen for frequency, timing, reps and sets so thanks for laying it out clearly.

If doing these stretches in the morning, would it be best to do them *after* exercises? Also - is that Immanuel Velikovsky on your t-shirt?

Foam roller is still a great tool, especially if you roll out the legs just after the warm up and before the stretches. Studies have shown an increase in short term flexibility and reduction of soreness by utilizing foam rolling. So a good purchase, just add in to this routine for extra benefits
