One player controls the direction the character is walking in and highs in melee. The other player plays a mage that is attached to the character.

Talking about youtube shorts, the main reason I personally don't move to their channel and watch a video is because I can almost never find the source. I always forget where how to find the description, and then there's so rarely a link to the source video the short it from. So I just move on, I only watch a few shorts though so I'm probably not the main audience of shorts. Sometimes the comments actually are more helpful on finding the source than the description itself.

Sonic 2 had Tails controllable by a 2nd player (or CPU if they remained idle), didn't affect the main game, Sonic still controlled the action and if Tails failed to catch up, he was die and respawn.

in FF7 Rebirth, they took so many things that should have been a cutscene and made them mini games. Or took a mechanic that should have been used 2-3 times and made it last for 30 minutes. I loved the game, but holy shit.

It took me around 115 hours to beat FF7rebirth and only 100% the first 3 open world maps. and the rest were about 80% done. I'd see another 30+ hours to do that. after I beat the main story I was done though. Gotta finish my 109 hour persona 3 reload playthrough now. lol

Yeah Final fantasy 7 didn't need to be 3 games. The one thing I HATED about Remake is it slowed to a crawl mid game. Oh you have to open a fenced gate? Well you better back track down the hallway, go up this ladder, push this crate box, then climb down the ladder, cross over that crate box, pull a switch, now cross back over the box, climb down that ladder, run back through the hallway and now you can open the fence. A simple switch to open a gate took 5-10 minutes, oh lets not forget Cloud has to focus on Aerith so she can tell us we need to push that crate down, because gamers are stupid. I played remake a week before Rebirth to catch up on the story and so I lowered the difficulty to easy just to blow through the game, mind you, I beat it a long time ago, but it wasn't the combat that drew out the game, it was that stuff. It was the forced slow down through hallways so Aerith and Cloud could talk, (which is not a bad thing in a story game), but they clearly did this because there's not enough content to justify splitting this into three games.

This is where my opinion is on Rebirth. Every single time you do anything quest related there's a tedious complication you have to contend with. I haven't beaten it yet largely because I have to work up the motivation to go back to playing it.

Rebirth feels like any time you want to do something you have to play a round of Mario party first, at best, and the Aerith/Cloud padding you were talking about at worst. One of the two options will be how you interact with every quest, in particular the side quests. When they said they put 100+ mini games into Rebirth they weren't talking about the Gold Saucer.

Corporations controlled by people and have a vested interest in freedom, and competition, while the Chinese government only has an interest in control. Again look at the differences in how the two governments treat their people. Making the comment I just made on a Chinese controlled platform it would immediately be taken down, and I would likely be arrested. Your comment as anti American as it is will not be removed and you will be able to freely continue to live. These differences matter.

Runescape was the "accessible" MMO at the time as you only needed the game time for it(and was MUCH cheaper than WoW's gametime back then) and you could also play an unlimited amount on the F2P version to get the addiction going. For me the huge draw was the quests - they weren't the "gather 5 bear asses" or "kill 50 shmucks" types, but rather each one was a little adventure you could go on and there were like 150 total quests in the game(which, after starting WoW, made me appreciate them even more).
