Glad you liked the course! yeah you could leave out the others but why would you want just "tag interest". Tags are not great for targeting ads as far as I can tell.

Hmm no that's weird. US ads are definitely open. However different accounts have different permissions. You should talk to your customer rep from TikTok.

TikTok is super strict with what they allow you to upload. Is there any way you can get the codes?

Hey Stephan, your TikTok accounts are not tied to the Ads Manager. You have to either upload all content directly to the Ads Manager or use the Creator Marketplace to sponsor an existing video on TikTok from a creator.

you use conversion if you want them to take action, like clicking a certain button. otherwise you can use traffic but that may not be highest quality traffic

It depends on a lot of variables. I can't give you one CPC. It depends on your target country, gender, location, operating system, objective, etc. But from my experience it's lower than FB.

It depends on how you set up your conversions. A conversion could be: button click, add to cart, submit form, etc. You need to know what’s the value of these conversions for your business

Yes, it's possible but it will require work. Every time you ask people to from TikTok to another platform, you have to offer them something amazing.

If your goal is to display the TV show to as many people as possible, then yes. This makes sense if you don't have other calls-to-action like app download or web conversion.

If you use a dynamic link from Branch, for example, it can open different things depending on the device. You might be able to open the IG app directly, but not sure about the permission there.

Hey Brandon, I don't have a video on that. You should be able to upload the email list and build a custom audience that way. What's the issue with your custom audience?

Hi, I've seen your course on udemy (didn't buy yet) I'm from Pakistan and want to create TikTok business account for ads after signing in, in the next step they ask to select the region as I'm from Pakistan so there's no such option there in this region. Problem is not stop there but when I select any other region and go on for complete registration and started to create my first ad than tiktok didn't give me the Pakistan option in region drop-down menu. When I've reached tiktok they asked that currently advertising is not available in your region. But interesting thing is that whenever I open my personal TikTok account I can clearly see TikTok advertisement on this. My question is that how we can put the ads in the countries that aren't available in region drop-down menu of TikTok. Please reply to this question. Thanks 👍

Hey man, this happened to me a few years ago as well. It’s possible that you can not run ads from Pakistan yet, but other countries can target Pakistan. Try reaching out to someone on LinkedIn who works for TikTok Advertising department in your region and ask to be white listed. That’s what I did.

Custom audience is a collection of users you want to target. If you have an email list of customers, you can upload this and TikTok will use it. If you don't have your own list you'll have to get creative. One solution is to install the TikTok pixel on your website and send traffic there. You can use this data as a custom audience as well. Alternatively, you can run some ads to your desired demographic on TikTok without using a custom audience. Once you get a 10k+ impressions you can use the highly-engaged audience from there as your Custom Audience

Good video! Thanks for the info! But, when I set up an ad in TikTok the suggested minimum bid is over $17.00. I don't have that much margin in the product I sell. I understand that bid amount will vary, but in your video you're looking at $0.36. It looks like this video is a little over 6 months old. Has the price of TikTok advertising increased that much? That suggested bid definitely seems excessive. At the beginnig, the algorithm doesn't have any info about your account so it's taking the suggested bid based on the targeting you chose. Just go ahead and put in a reasonable bid for your proudct. If it's too low, it simply won't spend any morney so you're not risking anything. Slowly increase the bid until you find a balance between what you're willing to spend and what the algorithm is willing to spend.

Funny how three- four years ago, while lecture my 8th grades about the over saturation of smartphones and apps in our society, i told them about how when i was in my 20s, MySpace and hi5 were the .ost popular sites. Facebook as an elite platform at the time only open to ivy league students before becoming used by the masses. Then came Twitter. I told them next will be this silly app called tik-tok that I keep getting KZbin ads for. Mind you this was sometime in 2018. A rule for ad makers: Creating ads for tiktok is okay but please do not create inappropriate ads which features sexual or pornography from any point. Because people cant obiously do anything but it might do bad things. Cannot be explained but do *NOT* create *INAPPROPRIATE* ads. Make the ads normal and addictive. So it is good. We're still waiting on the verdicts. I think the most likely scenario is that some US company will acquire TikTok and then it's good to go.

@@DariusMora Yes but in most cases if any app gets removed from playstore the app is no longer accessable on the device. Obiously .apk files are still accessable. So i recommend to upload .apk file by your company and release a ad about mentioning that. Google is not able to take the website download link down unless you remove them.
