I cannot thank you enough for posting these videos. I was diagnosed with palmoplantar keraroderma on my feet when I was in elementary school and told there was no treatment beyond topical/oral steroids that I did not want to take. I was told to soak and pumice frequently, but I didn't start doing weekly soaks until my mid-20s. (I was ashamed of my feet for too long, and we often neglect care for things we are ashamed of.) I am now 32, and in the past 2 years my condition has worsened such that pumicing doesn't help much. I just discovered your channel, and I wish I had found it sooner. It had changed how I care for my condition completely. It has changed how I talk about my condition. And if I had see this when I was a small girl, it may have lessened the shame I felt. Thank you so much for posting this content.

Liquid band aid is great. Hairdressers put them in our cuts so we can still cut and wash hair interrupted. It is like super glue but has more flexibility maybe it’s more rubbery

Have you tried slithering your feet with moisturizer then put on socks at bedtime? Don't rub the moisturizer in leave it slathered and immediately put socks on. Your skin will soften overnight. I'm so sorry people criticize what they don't understand. Ignore them and keep taking care of yourself.

I should have been a podiatrist, I enjoy these videos so much. I trim my feet and all of my family. I get rough feet from being in sandals so much. I soak my feet in baking soda, and then trim and wrap my feet in feet wraps with cream overnight

Baking soda? How does that work for your feet? What’s the result? I’m in search of a cure or something to alleviate the pain, heat and cracking. I don’t have EPPK. Dermatologist diagnosed me with dermatitis, but I think she phoned it in. She gave me clobetasol ointment and sent me on my way.

I have had a problem with my feet and hands and do what you do.. never knew what was the problem.. thank you for posting this video. I cut too deep all the time. especially around the toes. I find using the rough side of a nail file for the palms . I feel your pain, it's a never ending problem.

I've heard that docs use regular super glue anyways, my friends dad was diabetic and that's what his doctor told him. Just regular super glue, no need to speed the money on medical stuff.

I have actually seen other videos with people that have the same problem as you one woman actually has her children has the exact same thing and she has it as well and there’s a lot of maintenance like you say goes into that having to shave the feet in their hands, and to go through life like that it’s not pleasant and people that make these stupid comments just don’t understand or don’t want to understand And forgive my language but they’re complete assholes. I think you were amazing for being on KZbin and TikTok and showing people this is other peoples lives and this is how you have to live. It’s not fun and it’s not easy but it is informative.

To help with your feet not cracking, wash your feet really good , dry them, then put some Neosporin Medicaid on your cracks then put a nice amount of Vaseline all over your whole feet including the cracks and then wrap your feet in plastic wrap and put on a pair of socks and sleep in them. This will help with healing and soft the skin. So it will be softer when you go to scrap your feet. Also get an battery operated feet file . I hope and pray that this or something works out for your. Don't worry about what people say, they not or don't walk in your shoes.❤

You don't grow callus like that just uniformly all over your soles 🙄. Also idk if you’ve ever tried an e-file- they’re designed for acrylic nails but I’ve seen some podiatrists use medical versions. It may work it may not- but warning it can cause friction heat.
