If I could make a law for that, I would make it so that when somebody turns 18, they can’t have s3x with someone more than 4 years older than them until they are at late twenties-early thirties, when their brains are FULLY developed, after that they can have as big an age gap as they want, as the human brain only fully finishes development at around 25. Also, someone would have to be at least twenty one to be able to get married. It might be flawed, but overall I think it would be a pretty ok system, compared to the current system. It could help in preventing predators from getting what they want and keeping them to a minimum. Any thoughts?

Of all the people who have covered this story, I think you're the only one to start with their very dark origins and I love you for it! Cheryl is a Predator and Quran got Groomed. Period. I used to babysit a kid a few years younger than me, and he developed a massive crush. I tried talking to his parents so they'd talk about why that is inappropriate, after I had told him myself, and I stopped babysitting him. They encouraged it instead. We were next door neighbors so I couldn't avoid him all the time. One day, I was working on something in the garden and he comes over and tries to kiss me. I was totally shocked. I was 15, and he was 11 years old. He got the point when I yelled at him for it. I don't want to know what kind of depraved someone has to be to be that old and develop feelings for someone they knew as a minor.

I honestly feel bad for that kid(and other kids in his situation). The parents probably didn't tell him why it's wrong because "its cute to see young love" without realizing the damage they put the child through. He might get preyed upon and think it's normal because of the past reaction of the parents. Or he might harass people who are younger than him for the same reason. This reminds me so much of what happened to me. My mom had a friend and her son was a few years older than me. When I was 12 he was 16 and I obviously had a crush on him and my mom fed into it a lot. Called him her son in law and encouraged him to take my virginity. this reminds me of the movie i just watched hours ago "the last picture show" where the main character who was just graduating from HS (presumably a teen, though they never specified his exact age) dated a woman who's like 40. he later ditched that woman and started dating a girl his age but she ditched him. not wanting to give spoilers if anyone wants to watch it but, later on, another woman who he was friends with, unironically told him that he would be "better off" with the 40 year old woman, which i personally don't get how she could say that with a straight face lol but anyways. and i mean, the actors are good and the storyline itself is fine. but i personally found that relationship weird, especially when the 40 year old woman blew up in anger at the boy for leaving her (the actress was good in that scene but i think i personally would be able to take it seriously if she was blowing up at a man her age). I mean i know this movie was made in the 70s, so different times and i do try to watch old movies without modern-day morals in my head but i personally just found that a bit weird lol. and apparently the actor who played the main character starred in another movie years later, playing ANOTHER teen boy character who was with a woman much older but i haven't watched that one, maybe i could be overthinking this but considering some things i've seen in the past with other people, i'm just kind of paranoid whenever i see a relationship dynamic like this

I agree. And I'm a "cougar" aged woman. I know a gal who does the cougar thing & I find her pathetic. She actually thinks there is a relationship, then gets upset when one of her "boyfriends" starts dating a girl his own age, who has smooth, soft skin & not droopy everything. I've had a couple of offers over the years from younger guys & just the thought of it made me feel yucky. One was a friend of my oldest son when I was about 50 & he was 35. That's not even such a big age gap, but there was no way I could bring myself to date him. Not only does it feel creepy to think about, I live in reality & understand that a young man, while he might be happy to plug anything for a time, would not find a saggy, old grandma body attractive.
