These women really show their true colors why men don't want to date them. More men is avoiding marriage and birth rates is dropping. In 2020 only 2 million were born but in 2021 that number is only 1 million and in 2022 it's only 3 hundred thousand. These women are the real reason why population is collapsing.

I have heard the italians have high respect for mothers. So I theorize that it could be considered matriarchal; however this is typically during peace time. During war time its not as common? Like there could be a queen as a figure head of a society but that doesnt mean its a matriarchy.

When God was a woman, people were still cannibals, everyone was fine with genocide and human sacrifice and of course there was no child support. But more seriously, there is no evidence whatsoever that matriarchy ever was more then a fringe phenomenon in all the history of human societies. And the scientific theory of matriarchy is completely made up, just like the BS of Margarete Mead (Mead-Freeman Controversy) about free sexuality in primitive societies. Where we have some prove for its existence it was the result of limited resources, fe. still today in a small ethnic minority in China. The women there often are married to brothers, because a single men alone can't support a family.

And I told her if somebody was showing you a toy that you were interested in but you're not allowed to play with it or touch it as they're flaunting it in your face would you stay interested in it or lose interest? One of the many reasons that a lot of men don't even look at girls anymore is because we know we can't play with that toy because we're not the Chads or Tyrone's also a lot of us men have too much better things to do than to play the scamming Lying Games that's needed to get some of these women. It's hilarious that people actually argue: "Matriarchy existed, therefore it was good / is desirable today." Okay, it may have existed. But was it ever a good idea? Logically, if you compare a society where only the mother is invested in the children to one where both parents invest, the second will be superior. \thread Why even argue further? (But of course promiscuity is valued higher than cooperation with 50% of the population by this irresponsible woman, so she has to try and rationalize why her whims are actually more important than the well-being of families in the entire civilization in question.) Historically, matriarchy seems to only have existed in the absence of competition, similar to animals on isolated islands that don't stand a chance against rats, cats and pigs. It's an interesting curiosity, but we should only study the fate of the dodo in order to NOT repeat it.

@@genericscout5408 "Fact is if a matriarchal society develop steam power and gunpowder first they'd become the law of all modern cultures now." They were mostly hunter gather societies and they never invented clothing but still in leather cloths. Metal was never discovered, they still used stone and wood weapons. They still lived in tents instead of cabins or stone houses. There food was basically meat and fruits, no bread or grains and no dairy. Men built this world for women and HIS children. Now, we live in a MATRIARCHAL society which men don't want to marry and women are having children out of wedlock. Women are destroying their homes and families through divorce. Our society will be destroyed in the future, if men don't wake up and push back. MATRIARCHAL societies were all eventally extint, none ever survived. Forever MGTOW.

Bride prices, and which way they went (do you pay to get a bride, or do you get gifts with the bride) totally depends on the environment and how scarce the resources are. I read "When God Was a Woman" when I was in college and saying that societies used to be matriarchal based on that book is quite a stretch. It's true that pagan religions had goddesses as well as gods (think of the Romans, Egyptians, and Greeks, just to name a few), but there is NO evidence that property was ever passed down from mother to child. In fact, that doesn't quite make sense: who is able to protect and enforce family rights better, men or women? Men are traditionally the fighters because they're bigger and stronger. 99% of the soldiers in thousands of years of history were men. There's also scant evidence that women were the rulers in any ancient or preliterate societies and lots of evidence (such as the graves of kings) that men were. The author of "When God Was A Woman" was a sculptor and art historian, NOT an archaeologist nor anthropologist, and that books stands alone in making its claims. If what the author claims is true, then why hasn't it been confirmed by anthropologists and archaeologists (either men or women)?

That's a concept many modern women fail to understand. If I invest my time, commitment and money I don't want it to turn out a bad investment. I don't want to find out the kid in which I've invested 18 years of emotions, time and money isn't mine and I'm not interested in investing my time, emotions and money in a woman who's a cheater and fails on the reciprocity. It's not just the current situation in the west that tells us this. It's actually a well known fact across ALL cultures. In 1934, J. D. Unwin wrote "S3x and Culture", studying 86 civilizations through 5000 years of history, where he found a correlation between the cultural achievement of a people and the s3xual restraint they observe. The evidence is that human socieites are free to choose either to display great energy or enjoy s3xual freedom, but it appears they cannot do both for more than one generation. The whole human history does not contain a single instance of a group becoming civilized unless it has been absolutely monogamous, nor is there any example of a group retaining its culture after it has adopted less rigorous customs.

Hey lady, I can also read books! For instance, "S3x and Culture" published by J. D. Unwin in Oxford press in 1934: "Unwin studied 86 civilizations through 5000 years of history, and found a positive correlation between the cultural achievement of a people and the s3xual restraint they observe. The evidence is that human socieites are free to choose either to display great energy or enjoy s3xual freedom, but it appears they cannot do both for more than one generation. The whole of human history does not contain a single instance of a group becoming civilized unless it has been absolutely monogamous, nor is there any example of a group retaining its culture after it has adopted less rigorous customs." It's all downhill from here boys. We once enjoyed monogamy, but chose s3xual freedom instead. Thus, we won't be able to retain our culture. Meaning, the western culture is doomed.

If anyone here is interested in ancient societies and in what happens if we give women too much power over reproductive/family laws, I can recommend looking into the main reason for the downfall of the Spartans: Oliganthropia. In only a few decades, the Spartan population declined by almost 50%, some of it due to losses in war, but a lot of it due to children being community property and therefore no care about establishing fatherhood. This (along with some stupid inheritance laws that punished families for having lots of children) led to a lot of women entering relationships with multiple men (it was common for brothers to marry the same woman) lowering the birthrates even further. Also it was common practice for wives to step out on their husband (with his permission, but still) in order to produce more children for "the community", that had to be fed and cared for by the state.

Women at a certain age will (middle to late 30s, when time is running out) will nearly always leave if they somehow find a "better" option. That's usually the time when they start cheating secretly, because if the new option fails, they still have their current guy as a backup plan. They are totally damaged nowadays. I recently came out of a relationship where I found out that my girlfriend did exactly this... after ~4 years, at her age of 38.

I have been working all my life. I have dealt with men and women individually and in groups. And if i had to choose, I would much rather deal with men. Yes, there are few women who are good to work with. But in general no. They are very disruptive and talk in circles which usually slow things down. When a group of men are on a task, the men follow the leader immediately--even if they have to figure who he is while on task. Men have a better sense of knowing who is the most knowledgeable and aquicing. Go and watch women on task when they do not have a designated leader. They have the hardest time aquizing to the best at task. Now yes, there are also disruptive envious men who get in the ay too; however, these are considered punks by us.

Sorry but matriarchies were never a thing in history. Sure, there might have been primitive times when some old women were in charge of the home life or were priestesses. But that's not having true power as they didn't bring in the food or protect the families. Yeah, "Women King" tries to play up the myth of female warriors. Celts had them too and some others. But the Women King army ladies flat out sucked. Yes, the French give them credit for being brave but they easily defeated them several times. Those women might have only been good for taking other human beings as slaves. So, yeah, some women get elected, lead companies, rule nations but the women are never in charge of a society even if they might think they are. "Imagine a Day Without Women" is so humorous. They are like, they'd be no barista, no bus driver, no school teacher, no nurse, no babysitter, etc. Yeah, a day without men would be no electricity, no running water, no garbage pickup, no traffic lights and police services, no military, no pilots, truck drivers, stocked shelves, deliveries/mailmen, security guards, elevator maintenance, fishermen, dairy farmers nor farmers of any kind. No women would be a minor inconvenience but no men would mean no civilization.

So much agreed. It always irks me when someone wants to convince me that women were warriors just as often as men were (based off of dubious research like the birka shieldmaiden find) - historically there are almost no accounts of that being a thing. Of course, women fighting for show was quite a common practice (gladiatrixes, spartan agoge...) but that was more like women´s wrestling - purely for entertainment.

In Papua New Guinea there was a man whose father came from a matrilineal clan-based society and his mother came from a patrilineal clan-based society so he was not eligible for any inheritance of family land for him to be able to have gardens to grow his food to live on, he ended up having to leave and go to a city for a job to survive. Well the western world which basically rules the rest of the world is turning into a matriarchy on its own, much different from matriarchal societies that actually existed. Society exists by diving work between men and women and giving certain group some unique privileges and rights which r more or less balanced. The west however is no way trying to balance things and they r giving all rights and privileges to women and responsibilities and punishment to men, and trying to succeed their matriarchy that way, let's see how that works.
