Men, no matter how experienced in life inevitably get screwed over at one point or another whether it be through divorce courts, romantic relationships, friends or even family. While society doesn’t give a crap about these hardships of men at all, it is my hope that this channel can atleast give some clarity and relatability on these issues in a world where nobody seems to acknowledge them at all. Though I’m not a commentator by nature, I think it’s important that men share this information with one another to navigate the problems we all face.
If you’re interested in learning with me about these issues as they branch into others such as mental illness, wellbeing and accountability - you’ve come to the right place.
After months and months I’ve finally developed a space where men can share their thoughts and opinions (if susan doesn’t boot us off, get on Locals gents) and I think it’s important we take advantage of it - even if we don’t feel like talking about some of these unpleasant issues.

My name is Taylor the Fiend, but you can just call me Taylor. I help men understand the bitter truths of modern dating & society.
When I was younger (and probably still today let’s be honest) I was incredibly reckless and stupid. I had no cynicism or worldly experience and this caused me to go through a lot of stupid relationships and patterns that made life very difficult. This isn’t to complain (as these things were completely my own fault), more to share with you where I started.
🕸️ My Story.
Now, fast forward some time - adding a hefty amount of cynicism to the mix, I started to realize that people don’t always have your best interests at heart. A bitter realization, but a necessary one. Though I’ve been screwed over my fair share from my stupid decisions, I watched men around me who were far more established, intelligent and experienced get screwed over for far more irregardless. Divorce courts, a society that pushes away masculinity and a dash of misandry - have left men out in the cold metaphorically and physically speaking.
It gives me hope that myself as well as many other men have reached a point where we can look back and learn from our mistakes. Even if it sucks, we can share our experiences so we can collectively overcome all of the bull*** (pardon my language overlord susan) that gets thrown at us in modern society.

Statement: Along with the *many* other patent falsehoods that particular meatbag uttered, there are perfectly logical reasons why female clothing costs more than male clothing does. If there are any tailors or those who work in factories making clothing, feel free to chime in about this as well. For male clothing, it's predominantly straight lines which of course are far easier to do when it comes to sewing. Male clothing patterns are rather straightforward, the only difference in design usually being the size. Male shirts are stupidly easy to make no matter whether you are talking about a t-shirt or an ultra-fancy dress shirt, because there are only a few measurements to take into account (neck, chest, arm typically). For female clothing, not only are there FAR more varieties and designs than there are for men....there are also additional measurements to take into account. Even adding in one other factor such as bust size for a shirt (as an example) adds now numerous others that you have to make in the same size bracket. Because most men are fundamentally shaped the same for pants, the only things typically needed to account for men are waist size and leg length. For women it's very different, because there is FAR more variance in waist size, thigh thickness, butt size and so on. So yes, it costs more for the tailoring process so it costs more when you buy it. Don't like it? Buy a baggy pair of men's jeans that won't fit you properly and you can pay less. Oh, and pink dye does cost the most to make as well, by the way.

It's not _marketing because women will pay more,_ it's _making a profit because the overhead to produce the product is more._ Just buy the blue razors, accept that pink toys cost more, and move on with your life. @@jarrod752 Statement: It's both, actually. There *are* cost differences in production when it comes to things like clothing and pink dyes and such compared to others typically marketed to men. There are some things designed for women which have more complex chemicals or more research conducted than the relatively equivalent male product (like shampoos, as an example). A portion of this also stems from the female desire for much more variety in things where men are typically simpler to please. There is also a factor where they KNOW women will pay more, particularly if there is any kind of status. Louis Vuitton for instance...a wallet and handbag can only hold stuff no matter what it's made out of or whose name is stamped on it. But you'll see women fight over this and pay through the nose for them, because for whatever reason they are valued more highly with all those obnoxious LV's stamped on it.

@@hk-4714 Yes but the pink tax always had the 2 packages of identical razors next to each other in different colors and prices. It was an apples to apples comparison. Shampoo for men is made and marketed completely different than shampoos for women, as is most products, and doesn't really cross over. They are effectively different products. Fashion products *also* aren't considered pink tax because fashion accessories are generally a female only. Any male fashion accessories, likewise are male only, and don't tend to cross over. The only products you can make apples to apples comparisons on the pink tax and almost have a point is with plastics, where identical products can have different prices, and just like the wage gap (the way they like to define it, once again), there's a perfectly rational reason for that. As to the razors, TL;DR did a great video on why the reds and pinks tend to cost more. You should check it out.

Mens and women’s razors are not the same either. Most men seem to use disposable razors, whereas most women’s razors I’ve seen seem to last a bit longer. Men’s razors are meant to cut through thicker facial hair and the blades dull faster, whereas women’s cut through softer, thinner body hair. Because most women are using it to shave body hair, the surfaces on which they are shaving are larger and so it requires more blades. #1 - If women pay more for the same items as men it's because they are gullible. Female consumers have the power to stop being superficial and make the price come down. Men in general don't put a premium on clothes so manufacturers can't charge a premium. #2 - Women of average or lower looks do seem to mature faster than boys, but if their body matures faster life allows the hottest ones the option of not maturing at all. #3 - Women are the majority and can vote. Most men believe in equality and rabid feminists both demand equality in rights while expecting certain priviledges. Differences in pay between the sexes almost entirely disappear when you eliminate jobs in which salary and benefits are negotiable. Women on average also tend to have way better benefits in general when compared to men. This is the women's US soccer team all over again.

Something like that would get repealed the moment they realize exactly why men are opposed to women in combat. I mean let be honest here women seem to refuse to understand that war makes monsters of all of us. And just stating a fact here but can really ignore that they undoubtedly will have extra dangers • they have an extra "use" as a POW. It's weird how it's always portaied in movies and TV yet it's never seen a possibility in reality. No saying that's what all or even most soilders are like that but I can think of a few scenarios where it's a possibility • this is just my opinion but women are more valuable hostages and danger for them carries more emotional weight in societies eyes. Any of us could easily imagine some crazy dude at war with a version of America that had a strong female percentage on the Frontline using them as a form of psychological warfare • war is already pretty traumatizing for men. Now add the added stress of not only combat with women but against them. Idk if you hear about them often but I've heard 1 story from a vet about shooting a guy who looked very similar to a friend of his and how much it fucked with him. No imagine if that looked similar to a wife, daughter, mother. I mean I imagine lots of dudes would just assume that about them anyway regardless. But hey if some people have to learn this the hard way so be it I suppose.
