Best thing Minchin ever did. Truly beautiful. Poignant, humble, and tinged with that lovely bit of humor that makes things feel okay.

This is the song I turn to most often, whenever I'm feeling down or insecure. It's such a strangely sensitive, touching song --and then it's funny to boot, making it an even better pick-me-up. Thank you, Tim

This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. When he says "God forbid I hurt somebody," and "I spend so much time hating it [his body] but it never says a bad word against me," I all but break into tears. If you knew me, you'd understand how powerful that is. I just want to thank him for gifting the world with this song.

There seems to be some confusion over the lyrics, "the force created by it's spin is the force that stops the chaos flooding in." I think he's referring to the electromagnetic field created by the rotation of the iron core of the planet. It creates a shield that repels solar radiation and enables life to exist on Earth. At least that's how I understand his meaning.

Hi! The show Tim's playing on in a lot of my videos was a variety show called "The Sideshow", which was axed after two seasons (I think) thanks to a rather bad timeslot (10:30 on saturday nights). Paul McDermott was the host of the show, as it was from his company "GNW productions." Nowadays he hosts a new version of Good News Week instead. Us Aussies do love a good laugh with good music - as well as DAAS from the past and Tim now, we've got Tripod - like a modern day DAAS.
