“My fidelity is not based on my commitment to you, but based on my reverence for God.” - Nona Jones 🎉💜 That part!🙌🏾

Dear Pastor Tim, Sir you are such a magnificent picture of what a strong, masculine, intellectually sophisticated, spiritually adept, calm, in control, collected & emotionally intelligent man is. Your wisdom, poise, quiet confidence and stable demeanour are what a man was always meant to be. Thank you for showing us that the kingdom way, is still the best way in that it is still the solution to the problems that humanity faces, and not only on the marriage front. Miss Nona thank you for showing us how as women, we could be a boss without feeling the need to dress down everything masculine. You and Pst Tim exemplify that we truly are better together and we only weaken ourselves and everything connected to us when we wage war against each other instead of waging war against the true enemies such as poverty, the threat against the traditional family unit, the attack on the true church etc

As an occupational therapist with experience in pediatrics for over 10 years and an absolute Jesus lover, I am so so happy that you guys did not take that woman’s perspective of your child as bond. As clinicians, it is so important to have bedside manner and compassion, coupled with expertise and unfortunately, it’s truly lacking in many areas in healthcare. Shout out to you guys for standing up for your son, and believing God above all else! The interview was AMAZING and blessed me tremendously!!

I found a few parallels in their story. I was married in June 2004, diagnosed with PCOS in 2005, got pregnant in 2010 and found out on Mother’s Day. The difference is lack of commitment to covenant and team work. Now that that season is done, praying and preparing for my God-centered purpose marriage which will yield God’s multiplication and fruitfulness for our family.

What are you doing to me Mr. Whitfield!??! So…they spoke on a familiar level about difficult portions of their journey, as individuals and as a couple, AND they held up to the expectations only God has for them as individuals and as a couple. To choose to surrender and follow the leading of the Lord, even through the support of family, God honored that and is still honoring that. Wow…to hear him honor his wife and she honor him…thank you for having them!! And yes…that spiritual warfare…you need to have them back FORREAL! This was such a healing conversation 🙌🏾💛🙌🏾

Listening to Laterras, I was reminded of my own testimony. My son was born a preemie and was diagnosed with asthma at his first doctors visit. When he was in first grade he had a bad asthma attack. Up until that point I had been told so many different things from various doctors and there were many times it felt like medicine just didn’t work so I would do my own remedies. Well he had been battling with asthma and my at home remedies weren’t working. He was playing when started gasping for air. I didn’t realize how severe it was but I ended up taking him to ER because we had been up a long time and we were just tired. As soon as we walked in, literally out of nowhere a team of doctors came rushing to me they grabbed him and took him to the back. I hadn’t even done intake (name, insurance info, etc). Those doctors just went to work. And when they got him stabilized, the head doctor looked me in my eyes and said “We’re so glad you brought him in when you did”. That’s all she said but I knew exactly what that meant. He ended up hospitalized for a week with 3 of those days in ICU on oxygen. Today, Joshua, is a leader in every sense. He’s almost 18, going into his senior year of HS. He plays football and Lacrosse and will run track this year. His Junior year he got a 4.0 first semester and 3.75 second semester. He has a job… and isn’t on any medication. He had zero residue from that attack. God truly healed him!

This podcast was very good because it showed the things not to do when you get married. Sometimes, when God calls us, we have a tendency to take off running. Timing is so important waiting on God to see when you want me to go forth in ministry. God may call us to a work, but when to go forth is another side of the story. Important to plan your ministry according to God‘s timing because our timing may be different than God’s timing. I do want to say that your new intro for the podcast is beautiful! Great job! The "WORD" says: 1 Corinthians 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world, to confound the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world, to confound things which are strong. Nona, you Better say that again: "CRISIS EXPOSE'S THE CRACK'S"! MARRIAGE IS ABOUT FILLING / STANDING IN THE GAP'(s) & RISING TO THE OCCASION'(s) NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION CALLS FOR IN ORDER TO HAVE A HARMONIOUS UNION & ONE THAT IS ON ONE ACCORD" = IT'S A PARTNERSHIP"! "he's an "IMITATION" & "WILL NEVER BE GOD NO MATTER HOW HARD" he tries"! THE TEAM CONCEPT IS = KEY! "DON'T ALLOW ANYTHING THAT IS NOT BIBLICAL IN YOUR MARRIAGE IS = A KEY! I love it when Nona said that she was Morbidly Obese & she said that Tim didn't S👀 it & He Doesn't Remember it & I said to Myself: "HE SAW HER"! "HE WAS TO BUSY LOOKING AT HER HEART THAT HIS PHYSICAL EYE'S DIDN'T L👀K AT THE OUTWARD APPERANCE, BUT HE CULTIVATED HER THROUGH THAT PROCESS"! Latteras - this is a beautiful episode! Thank you, Brother. 🙏🏾 I’ve not heard of this couple before but I am grateful, as they are, for the DFW platform from which Yahweh has elevated and expanded their LIT light. Blessings!

This was a oddly great interview not the typical but still refreshing

I loved this podcast. I especially loved the letter you wrote to your future wife. I pray that God is preparing you for your future wife, and preparing her for her future husband. Always keep God in the center of your marriage and others out of it.
