"Pork floss" is common in Serbia. Although it's an expensive version of "Pork cracklings", because it's usually with longer "fibers", we call it "tobacco cracklings".

Over in our neck of the woods, we put pork floss on our rice and mix it about to incorporate it into the rice and you end up with a tasty bowl of rice. Useful if you only have rice and nothing else to have it with, though our pork floss is fluffy and not like solid clumps.

They still do, I think. They're like candy. I frickin love em. The little mint rush you get initially as it binds to your tongue is ALMOST too strong, makes you wince a little. Probably the menthol-iest thing I can tolerate. Even with that intensity, they're so good.

Pork floss is common here in America but in an unexpected way. They have mock "tobacco" products for kids that are actually pork floss. It tastes like jerky. I think they make them with beef floss too. In Malaysia they have bread/buns that have spicy chicken floss and mayo inside so when you eat it, it tastes like a spicy chicken sandwich.

I don't know if Tim has seen one of these before but I remember getting these lollipop slide whistles when I was a kid. They were long cylindrical lollipops and the top of them was shaped like a whistle, the middle was hallow and the stick could be slid in and out to change the pitch. I feel it would fit right in with the rest of this collection

Hey Tim! That pork floss you mentioned in the video is also common in Malaysia and I'm pretty sure it is throughout South East Asia. We actually put them on bread or as toppings for porridge, or at least I do. I've never heard of putting them on omelettes or steaks! 😆
