They like to play childish word games with them thinking they're making a valid point. There's no intent to make a point(because there isn't one) but simply to win an argument. Take the fat-shaming as an example. Donald Trump always tries to fat-shame feminists, suggesting that the only reason they think women should be respected for anything other than their bodies is because their own bodies are deficient. He fat-shames women who accuse him of sexual harassment. This shows a complete absence of not only class but morality as well. Donald Trump thinks that people only hold moral positions because their personal interest is involved somewhere. Conservatives agree with him because they themselves are like that. There is no extension of sympathy to something you have never experienced. Notice that the only Conservatives who seem to have any real sympathy for gay people are those who have gay people in their own close circle. That lack of breadth of understanding and sympathy is precisely what makes a Conservative in the first place On the other hand, the so-called fat-shaming of Donald Trump is merely concern that a President whose taxes remain unreleased(except for a partial document without sources of income listed which could easily have been faked and probably was to show him in a good light) also won't allow an honest assessment of his health to become public. His old doctor(the hipster doofus who by his own admission worshipped the ground Trump walked on) said that Trump was the healthiest candidate ever to run for President Because of course we have extensive records of all Presidential candidates dating back 200 years. Then he went to a TV doctor most of whose ideas are nonstandard with test results we're not even sure come from his body. And now we have a White House Doctor who proclaims now not only that Trump weighs far less than anyone would guess from his appearance but that "he might live for 200 years" Because doctors are always making official statements of that kind of course. The concern is not only about the President's real health but whether we can ever trust a White House Doctor during a Republican Presidency. So one and the other are miles apart. But if you're a Conservative having a moral argument you are in a completely alien territory. You don't understand the concepts at all. You just try to use the words and twist them around to win arguments. That's the point here.
