How To Keep Insurance Companies Accountable? Raymond Little - Roofer Argues w/ Insurance Adjuster

What is the REAL reason some shady insurance adjusters or companies deny claims with obvious damage?
Is it because they believe some homeowners won’t fight back, even after paying a premium for 10-50 years?
Raymond Little - brought attention at a scale very little else has around this issue.

I’m so glad someone took the time to video this. I always give my homeowners info so they can advocate for themselves as well as me. I love that this homeowner was right there. We did just have a similar situation with a scope showing 100+ shingles (scattered across multiple slopes) to be replaced on a 20 year old roof. It had hail damage. Even after submitting a video of us trying to repair it, the insurance company still pushed back. It’s too bad, because these clients had been with them forever. It just seems like there needs to be more oversight over these companies. I’m not saying there are not bad contractors, because we all know there are. It just seems like certain insurance companies are making their own rules that contradict what insurance coverage is for.

I posted in the other video, but I had a similar situation. The adjuster didn't even go on my roof to inspect the shingles because she was afraid of heights. She still denied my claim. It's all a sham.

This is embarrassing. if this doesn't prove that insurance companies only want to collect premiums and not pay, then I don't know what else would. Insurance companies prefer to spend money with nay sayers with NO experience, but they are firm on the final say, and don't know how to do the job. This is so sick and aggravating to watch....

Ive been selling roofs and handling my clients insurance claims for almost 10 years. All these adjusters are full of shit. They are taught how to deny their insurred's claims which leaves their clients with anywhere from 15,000 to 25,000 bucks worth of roof replacement hanging over their heads. And if they cant pay, they insurance companies will drop them from their policy which leaves them in a horrible position. F those insurance companies and the adjusters who rarely even know what the hell they're doing anyway!!

Just won a 6 figure appraisal with State Farm. Now they’re refusing to pay those large appraisal awards so now you also have to go ti litigation after the appraisal

My "former" insurance doubled our premiums for "current forecast of an above average hurricane season". They lost thousands of clients in weeks.

It’s not just home insurance. This happens every minute of every day in healthcare. Some faceless person hundreds of miles away from where the actual care is taking place is telling the physician that their care plan is not acceptable for the patient without ever seeing the patient themselves.

State Farm would only replace 25% of one side of my roof. After a nasty hail storm that left small divets where every ball of hail hit the shingle. The adjuster stated that there was not enough damage per sq foot. To warrant a new roof. I was so angry! Never received a new roof. After paying my premiums on time for 30 years and never had a claim until then.

Im assuming Jeff the adjustor not being a roofer doesnt know the next shinlge lays over top the nail line so u gotta go down a shingle to get up to the nails no way around it

So adjustor walks up the roof breaks one shingle thats already more than enough to cause a leak and says "That One Doesnt Count" What!!!!! Doesnt count itll count the next time it rains😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😢😢😢😢😢

Don't unsealed that aggressively hi have to do it with finesse. Obviously this guy never tried sepeeating sealed shingles unless you heat it with a torch. Not recommended or wait till it's 90 degrees then you will scar the hell out of the roof. As brittle as that roof is you cannot replace one shingle and get nails in it without damaging the shingle above it. You must fold tab up to nail shingle under.

Roofers can get an attitude at times. Jeff was nice and let you act like a child. Your cracking voice after you realized the desk adjusters make the call as he’s leaving even though you allegedly been a roofer for 12 years. The begging is funny. Imo all 3 tab needs to be replaced and you don’t know how handle your job
