Wow! Thanks so much for sharing. This exactly what I was looking for.

Would be better off using hiqnet and crown amps. And blulink everything. Can’t get any faster than that. If your pockets can afford it.

Nice video. Next time take 2 hrs , show 12 math equations and over complicate it like everyone else’s videos.

Who what?

Yea it’s called time alignment. That’s basic technology that’s been around for a lot of years.

How can the sonic be quantified down to 1 mic with 30,000 seating positions?

I thought the same thing. I’m guessing because the delay will be more or less similar- roughly at least- at all listening positions. Very good point though.

While there are differing amounts of delay due to processing between the mains and Subs, the largest factor is the difference in distance the sound is traveling before reaching the listener. This ratio will change very little beyond the first 100ish feet in front of the stage in a deployment at this scale, an area that will undoubtedly be covered by a separate array (stage fills) closer to the crowd and delayed accordingly!
I see he took the measurement of the mains and subs, what about the outfills and 270’s? Shouldn’t all the time aligning of a system be done by the system engineer, not the FOH engineer.

It doesn't. You're suppose to take measurements from multiple positions and find a happy medium between all of your misaligned sources
