We are soon to put our first motor home on the market so I’ll be following with interest both to see the sale process and what you buy next. Ours is a 2017 Allegro Open Road 36LA, and we will be shopping for a diesel pusher once it’s sold. Good luck!

Definitely buy it! They would have the peace of mind knowing it has been truly cared for and maintained properly the entire time. That's the scariest part when buying used...and you take that piece out of the picture! CONGRATULATIONS!!

Of course they bought it! If I were in the market for a used coach I would love to buy from you guys! Because I know how you guys take such care and pride in what you own. These are definitely exciting times! All the very best!

I definitely feel your anxiety, I just downsized from a class A DP to a truck camper! Gave up a lot of space and creature comforts but in trade I get tons more flexibility. Any reservations I had are now gone and I have no regrets, and I have no doubt it'll be the same for you.

I am so glad you mentioned the RV Branding and the Insurance of those RV’s that are branded and they are getting an income from the brand, as those would then be considered a business and not a recreational vehicle. I saw that on the escapes webinar and found that very interesting.

Wish you nothing but success in whatever you choose. Very exciting. We've had gas and DP coach's. Prefer DP for comfort and power although they are more money. Everyone has what they consider the best. Have friends that bought the Class B on a sprinter chassis. Now they are looking for something with more room. Our newest coach is almost 39' and not too big. Of course drive whatever you are considering and then sit in it and imagine yourself inside for extended periods and of course like you guys, living in it. Make sure bathroom has enough room and if you bend over at the sink your head doesn't hit the cabinet. Ours has a bath and a half, can't live without that now according the happy wife.

What a relief! I saw the title and thought you had decided to sell Rocky and build a house or something like that. I have missed you guys since you quit putting out travelogue videos and have been waiting for resumption. What a relief it is to hear that you are replacing Rocky with a newer coach! If I were to guess, I would guess a newer diesel pusher. Since you just bought that Jeep capable of being towed four down, I doubt you would be buying a travel trailer or fifth wheel. Diesel pusher and resumption of travelogue videos is my guess/hope.

Can you explain in a little more detail regarding the insurance issue with branding your vehicle please?
@Rvlove6 жыл бұрын
Yes our agent said if we were ever in an 'incident' and an assessor came out to take photos and discovered website/company branding on the RV, they could potentially deny the claim, as it's not insured as a commercial vehicle. Best you contact your own insurer for specific advice if you're considering branding too. If it's a personal blog that isn't a biz/income generating source, it's probably not that big of a deal...but for us it was just a risk we weren't willing to take.
@seabliss226 жыл бұрын
RVLove | Marc & Julie Bennett thanks for explaining that. Something I had never considered. Not that I even have a KZbin channel but I have considered getting my vehicle wrapped with advertising for an income 🤔

I'll place my bet on an Allegro Red 37BA on the Freightliner chassis. And the sofabed on the passenger side will come out to become the new office. Bath and a half hard to turn down. Let's start a pool, I'm in for $10.
@Rvlove6 жыл бұрын
You mean the 37PA? That's a nice floorplan... yes start the betting pool! LOL
@steveharkins2796 жыл бұрын
Meh, 37PA has no place for an office and only single bath. The 37BA, 38QBA & 38QRA all have the couch that can (come out) to become the office. with his and hers' baths. Mocha cabinets, white tops/floor. That is a tough trio for the bet. After some thought, I believe it will be the 38QBA as it was discontinued for a couple years and you liked it, now it is back. My future, I am doing a super C swap to an F750 "Crew" chassis www.ford.com/content/dam/vdm_ford/live/en_us/ford/nameplate/f-650-750/2019/collections/exterior_gallery/3-2/C7415317_COMF_650_750_PowertrainCutaway_mj_32.jpg/jcr:content/renditions/cq5dam.web.1280.1280.jpeg on a 2004 Tioga 28R body. Taking on the outback BLM, 22.5 tire, to ford rivers. 30,000 Lbs of chassis.With an electric locking positraction dually.
@steveharkins2796 жыл бұрын
Ok like, I will double down $20 it is a 38QBA, it is as far as it can go in chassis before hitting tag axle limit.And who wants another 2 tires to feed, nobody.

Guess I gotta guess what you're up to next... My hope is for a good quality FW as I'd love to see your perspectives on that. I'd hope you don't follow Wynns & Technomadia into boat-land. They seem to be having a great time of it but their RV content has pretty much dried up, which I find unfortunate as that's what I followed them for. As for me I've been planning on getting a FW in two years but with the adopting of three cats last fall I'm reconsidering whether a MH might be better for them. I could shut them in the bedroom on travel days which might be less traumatic than transferring them back & forth between trailer & truck.
@Rvlove6 жыл бұрын
There are some nice fifth wheels out there and we have certainly considered those too. We appreciate Gone with the Wynns and Technomadia for all of the RV content they so generously shared with us all and learned a ton from them. We understand their desire for new adventures and wish them every happiness on the water! But we won't be getting a boat. We know people with both MHs and FWs and TTs with cats and each option seems to work well for them, guess it depends on the cats...

Generally, especially with newer RVs, people like it as close to factory as possible as it makes them feel like they are getting a 'new' coach. Don't think anyone else would have liked the dining area as much as we did as the table was pretty small, and that bedroom decor was pretty personal too. The new owners had different taste to us

What??? Regarding the payment of any claim being affected because of the presence of stickers advertising your KZbin channel is RIDICULOUS. I mean, seriously, I don't even know how they could justify that. Were I a KZbinr and I had a claim on my rig that was initially declined because of some ridiculousness like that I'd take the insurer to court and as well, invite every media outlet interested in covering the ensuing circus.
@Rvlove5 жыл бұрын
I think the difference in our case was that when we first started our KZbin channel, it was a hobby, like most people. but when I left my regular job and we focused full time on our online school and other online revenue. The case that the insurance company could make is that our RV is now a commercial vehicle. Not having commercial insurance on our RV could open up gray area. We wouldn't have interest in a court battle or circus, so it was much easier to simply remove our branding stickers.
@n1spirit5 жыл бұрын
@@Rvlove - Good point. (To be honest I problably wouldn't be interested in a circus either (LOL) but when I first heard you say a rep of the insurance company had actually said they could use that as an excuse not to provide coverage (pay out on a claim) you had already paid for it made me angry. Seemed like such a cheep shot. I still don't agree that they should be able to but I understand your reasoning. Safe travels, y'all! ;-)
