Yes and Yes... Is your 88 mass air? If not,you may want to do that upgrade. The speed density system may not like the Trick Flow cam

@@kellyriffle4750 mine is an auto also. Just put 373's in an a lentech terminator valve body on n its fun. The valve body have a od lock out which is great. Looking to do torque converter to. 👍

So Trick Flow offers 3 different intakes. The Street Heat, Track Heat and Box R Series. I have a set of older set of Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads, a new Trick Flow Stage 2 Cam with Hydraulic Lifters, and I am wondering which intake would go best with this setup? My car is an AOD so I am matching the stall converter to the cam, but should I do the same with the intake? The Box R is good from 3000 - 6000 rpm, and that comes close to matching my cam (2800) and the stall converter I will be getting. Any advice?

The R series intakes are better for higher rpm setups. The box R is a boost intake. Id go the Track Heat with a 75mm Tbody for your setup

Need some help! Wanting to order the TrickFlow Twisted Wedge 11R top end kit(TFS-K525-432-370) from summit for my 88 HO engine. Summit has said it will, then it won’t work with stock pistons(eyebrows), then said “you may need to modify pistons for valve clearance” 🙄. Does the kit work with the stock pistons?? Thank you!!!

A lot of places have emissions requirements. Most hi-po parts are considered "off road use only". Meaning you won't pass emissions testing with them.

My charcoal canister on my 91 lx was by passed and I was concerned for a while. I don't have emissions where I live in south texas, but my car has a gas smell when I get on the throttle heavy, is that normal?

You may smell a little as the vent tube comes off of the tank, but being under the hood, you hardly notice it
