Everything is gorgeous! Enjoy the weekend. However, I have a suggestion. After Heritage Days, close your doors and turn off phones. Then plan to do nothing but sleep, eat and feed the critters. Then repeat for at least one week. You both need it!

I did a double take when I thought I heard Woodstock, IL. Sure enough, that is what you said. We moved to Woodstock, IL 8 years ago from Oak Park. My husband was supt of Elmwood Park, and I taught at Roosevelt University. We fixed up a Prairie style house in Oak Park and are now working on fixing up a Victorian-style house in Woodstock.

Hi Patrick and Stuart, You guys are self-proclaimed crazy. That being said, the end result is worth it. The new stone pad at the front door is perfect. Forget that it's not hemmed, the fabric hung at the windows is perfect and so eloquently formal. Great job and the best of luck and success for Heritage Days! Mark & Scott

Years ago I picked up a several yards lovely red silk at a sale downtown (something that I could never have afforded otherwise), I layed it out, and was terrified to cut into it. I stared at it for two days, before I finally got the courage. That suit was stunning. You have done everything you can do, and the curtain must go up. Remember all you can do is present the best you can. There is no predicting what an audience will enjoy, it is up to the fates. For me, I am positive it will be an exhausting and amazing experience. You will triumph! Or at the very least...hope you have some great stories to tell afterwards.
