I'll also add, for people with ADHD, while procrastinating might seem like the best approach, it's actually a really bad feedback loop where we're avoiding working because it triggers negative emotions, procrastinate it, leave until the last minute, rush to do it, and then we're rewarded with dopamine because we got it done, which reinforces our likelihood that we'll procrastinate again.

That's something to add! And it's especially worse if you underestimate how long it'll take to do the assignment, so yeah it needs to be a strategic procrastination!

So many great points and techniques! Love all the Japanese philosophy like Kaizen, Shoshin, & Wabisabi; even the Pomodoro could be considered Muda(waste reduction). I also went to college for computer science with a focus on system design, And just took the idea of creating system's and copy/pasted it in all aspects of my life so I resonate with the "planner is in my head" very much lol.

The head planner is the True Ol reliable haha but yeah I love the Japanese techniques too because I knew about them but I never had a word for them before! I especially love Kaizen the most

Honestly!! Like I love flare cause sometimes you have to listen to something like a meeting or conversation or whatever but it doesn't have to be as loud as it normally is 😭

I didn’t know you were in the animation industry that’s so cool!!! Your highschool plan is a lot like mine rn. I’m going to my local university studying animation to hopefully get a job as a storyboard artist or animator. And doing work in class is so real. I would draw pages in wipeout bc I had a few pretty easy art classes in my senior years of highschool. I would get like 1-2 hours a day. I logged all of it in google sheets cause I’m insane.
