@@scoobydoom the character in question is using rheumatism as an excuse, yes. The game is hinting that he’s gay himself, which is what me and FuzzySea were pointing out. This happens in the real world pretty often, so even without the manly statues and phallic charm in his room, it would still be a fair guess that he is. The game just wants to make sure by adding the details for us.

John gleefully chasing Sentius to the shrine and his acting for "Ulpius making me GULPIUS" were my favorite parts of the video lol. I'm really digging the puzzle solving and the mystery in this, although I think (NO SPOILERS) I figured at least one part of it out, who "Karen" is. It wasn't until one of the patterns John's character mentioned to Equitia that I had my big eureka moment. I'm not sure if that's the one doing everything though, because there's nothing QUITE like that (to my knowledge) in the Greco-Roman mythology lore that would tie in with what's going on here.

Spoilers for getting into Malleolus' villa. . . . . . . You can jump from the cliff into the villa pool (and survive, unlike Ulpius). That's why the statues keep commenting "leap of faith." Or, the really easy way, since you have money now, is to give Domitius 1,000 Denarii in exchange for the key.

The Golden Rule being broken was pretty scary. I like the time loop - you can redo all the mistakes you make, and not worry about the time limit. There’s some connection between Kherty and Karen. Are they the same person, or same entity? Sentius is so eager to die so the player can get a redo. Aurelia won’t be attracted to the player until the end, I guess. The assassin is so annoying! I bet Jesus Christ is the right answer - he may think your a Christian and can’t be in the cult. I was wrong about the lover! I wonder if you tell them about Sentilla’s fate, will they stop their attempt? I wondered if Ulpius was a clue as to what happened to Iulia. I had no idea Aurelia was like that. I’m surprised that theft of money and freedom to live isn’t counted as a sin. Octavia barely tried to intervene with Ulpius - she took two steps and then just stared. They should have been that you have to select “I think I know the sinner” before you can make Sentinus act.

I commented on the last video about 'Karen', and I think my suspicions are being validated slowly. Theory below! Everyone is waking up after an incident that would/could have killed them, and by a river with Karen/Charon. All of them make a note of having coins, like the ones you use to pay the ferryman. It seems to me this is some sort of afterlife/purgatory/underworld going on, especially with the earlier mention of Demeter causing famine when Persephone was taken to the underworld by Hades, and the tale of the elderly couple (taken from a greek myth with Zeus and Hermes conducting the test if I'm not mistaken). So maybe it's a test to see where you end up in the afterlife? I'm not sure how it's linked to the 'Gold' thing so far as I can only think of the Midas connection. 🤔

another awesome part! I like that it's like a whodunnit for the god it could be - that we find out via one character that suicide doesn't break the golden rule, which opens up the possibility that iulia's death was suicide (shortly to be confirmed after) but then that it's clearly not the Christian God. Such a cool premise! Also the grab n loop aspect is a fun mechanic :D though I wonder if it's at all possible to complete the game without breaking the golden rule yourself resultingly...

After watching the first episode and the first 18 minutes of this one, I think I figured it out. Most, if not all, of the characters in this game are different versions of two people. Either of a man (you) or the woman who saved you. I don’t know who you or her were at the beginning of this journey but at this point multiple loops and loops within loops have led to them basically replicating themselves within this paradox. When you ask a woman how she arrived at the city, she’ll tell a story exactly the same as yours except it’s a man who saved her instead of a woman. Encouraging them towards the path that leads them to the city. Isn’t it strange how all the woman look similar to the woman who saved you and all the men look similar to each other? I look forward to finding out how they came to be two people trapped in an eternal bootstrap loop, trying to find each other again.
