I’m really blown away to see this is an indie game! They used the Skyrim mod so well and made so many interesting characters to flesh out the world. I read that the head developer quit his job to make this game and worked 80 hrs/week to make sure he wouldn’t have to crunch his fellow developers. I think all the effort they put in is showing really nicely, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

It sounds like 'Charon', the boatman of the River Styx taking souls to the underworld. :) and Karen pulls people from the river... by her little boat. 👀 Well played, game. Well played. Not that I have any idea what it means yet, I'd never heard of it until the shareholder meeting. But still... clever. :)

I thought the same thing! It was the river that made it click for me, though. It was very clever to make the protagonist misunderstand her introducing herself as Karen. Can’t wait to see where it goes!

As someone who's played the standalone game I know you can't be descriptive because of spoilers, but could you tell me what you thought of the mod? I never got to play it. I just know it's similar to the game.

@@Shapeshiftergreen loved the mod. I haven’t played it in years, but from what I remember it’s pretty much the same, with a Skyrim theme instead of Roman of course. The mod gave more of a claustrophobic feel because it takes place entirely in a dwemer ruin. The voice acting was top notch. Definitely recommend if you have access to it. It’s available on Xbox if you don’t have PC. Sony doesn’t allow external assets unfortunately so not available on PlayStation.

This is such a fantastic game, I'm *really* looking forward to his playthrough. I don't think every idea it has lands perfectly and some sections can go a little long, but it's such a unique, intriguing game that I can forgive its flaws and really respect it.

Personally, "Al Worth" reminded me of Alfred Pennyworth, lol. I'd be interested to see how the NPCs react to the flashlight, considering that you can also apparently have a gun and are dressed in modern clothes. This game is really intriguing so far! And it started out as a mod? I can't wait to see John play the rest.

Wait, shot in the dark, but as of 48:26, a thought occurred to me: is Karen actually supposed to be Charon? The wway the saint mentioned her name in such close proximity to the mention of the river was sus. That would explain the pretty random usage of Karen, of all things, as a name and it's just hidden under a 'haha Karen's are cringe' veneer to throw you off.

I just got this game from Amazon, last month. It's just... I have no words. I got the 3rd ending first. And I was like okay, beautiful game, game looks so good, and it was entertaining, but whatever, just one more of the bunch.... Until I came back to get the fourth ending. I just finished it. This game it's absolutely beautiful, this ending... I cried, I rarely cry ever, man. I'm glad I played it and I found it. The game doesn't have the best graphics or mechanics, it's buggy. But the story production is a masterpiece, it's powerful. That ending, completely unexpected. I could have never imagined this would be one of my top 5 games of man, seriously, of all times. When a production gets to the audience's emotions it robs their hearts.
