Time Trial Race Day at Big Willow C7 Z06

Some clips from the practice sessions. The only other car in my class with a transponder was the modded NSX. Congratulations to my friend Tom who won his class with his Civic Type R. He did an unofficial time in the 1:34s during the 2nd practice session. I was 2 seconds slower than my personal best time with a unofficial time of 1:32 during practice. The NSX was a second behind with an unofficial time of 1:33. I skipped the final official timed race session since there were only two cars in my class.

Thanks Steve for uploading. Will definitely watch in preparation for next time. Really helps to see your lines and speed in each part of the course. That’s nuts you’re able to hit 150 mph on the main straight :)

Tom Connor I think the person to watch is Randy Pobst in a stock Civic Type R. Great driving by the way, you were only about a second and a half off his time with a fresh set of A052s your tires were almost gone.

how were the temps? IE: ambient? coolant? oil?

Overheating is no longer an issue so I didn't run data from the MPVI2. So no ambient numbers, I doubt if it reached 85f that day. PDR data shows max coolant at 214f and max oil at 261f after 18 laps.
