I would agree shapeshaver bowl is the best I have used so far for a lather. Timeless slant is excellent, so good in fact my son took it lol

Bic Chrome Platinum worked really well in the Timeless Aluminum Slant for me. Sharp blade that got me 14 shaves and counting. Not sure if that blade agrees with you or not.

@junior_meat the Bic chrome platinums have been 50/50 for me. I’ve had some great & some not so great shaves with them.

Great comparison. Out of all your razors, if you had to shave every day, which one would you pick ? Have you tried the Gillette Nacet or Platinum blades ? I wonder how the Yellow SharpEdge compare to them ?

@sagurosmart4100 I struggle with that decision of picking the razor of the day almost daily. 🤣 I’ve really only been keeping razors I really like & trying to sell the others. That said for DE my favorite currently is probably the aylsworth apex aluminum. I’ve had nothing but fantastic shaves with it. With almost any blade of my favs I’ve tried in it. For SE razor the shield AC or yaqi Romulus AC OC are really really nice. For vintage? gem featherweight, schick Krona, Gillette New head OC Adjustables the yaqi ultimata slope aka slant razor. That’s as minimal as I can make the list 🤣🤣 For blades yes I have tried the nacet and platinum and GSB. Of those the Nacet I do find smooth I just find the Permasharp or sharp edge yellows sharper. I should try the nacet again against the 7 o’clock green. I’m testing the “new” accuforge aka personna lab blue against the 2 old version of the lab blue right now. I’m trying to find some non Gillette blades to fall in love with just in case when they reopen in China if I don’t like the new Gillette blades I’m not scrambling trying to find one I like.

How would you compare the mildness/efficiency of both Timeless aluminum razors? The thicker guard on the straight bar version looks comfortable.

@leenunes007 they are both very smooth. I would have to say you are right. The non slant with the scalloped head seems a tad smoother.

@robertlarkham2428 lmfao! In my early 20’s I got a GF with big tits. I put down the weights for 8 yrs before getting back into it at 30. I’ve kept it going pretty good since. Now that I’m getting older I just work around old injuries 😂 I’m not going to records or impress anyone. Just trying to keep the ball rolling.
