Vader has an interesting take on being a new guy in a company with the whole "speaking up for yourself when making a match". I see it as a double edge sword. Either don't say anything and not make much of an impression or say something and possibly piss off the veteran, who could then go tell management/the other vets and make your life a living hell.

WCW had so much great talent and was actually very good during the 91-93/93 (pre Hogan) era.. It was like WCW just totally rebooted and changed their booking as soon as Hogan came in.. Shit, I loved the Dangerous Alliance, Missy Hyatt/Madusa, Sting/Vader, and all of the stuff pre-Hogan..

Exactly!!! When Hogan came it was the beginning of the end for not only Vader but for Steve Austin(Stone Cold) & Mick Foley. They left for the WWF. Sure NWO was good but it went out of control & over done it. So it wasn't a surprise that The Attitude Era put WCW out of it's misery.

I agree with you. WCW had a lot of talent during the 91-94 period before Hogan arrived. in 1994 WCW was really gaining a lot of momentum putting on some really great ppv's and soon as Hogan came in July of 94 everything just instantly changed. it was WCW starring Hogan and his friends.

I've wanted to see a proper Vader shoot ever since I read Mick Foley's book and how guys if they knew they were booked against him wouldn't even show up at the arena, then I saw his matches with Foley and they would kick the shit out of each other-and of course Mick and Cornette say he's one of the nicest guys whose real emotional.

I remember the argument of him and ricochet vs osprey. My take of the situation is that wrestling is live action movies, so Vader was the monster in the movie, the ricochet and osprey are anime characters. Just different interpretations of the culture.
