The Philippines was only a colony of the US for only 48 years. Your chart shows aboit 150 years. With this error, the credibility of your book and charts come into question. Why should I buy your book/charts? Will you be coming out with a new book with the correction, and possible corrections of your other probable errors?

I had to subscribe and like this video for especially one reason. I really appreciated the sales plug for the book at the beginning. By telling people to go to independent book stores rather than just go to Amazon or online in general was something I had never heard before on KZbin. It was refreshing to hear and I am sure booksellers greatly appreciate it. I would love to hear more media creators express this kind of sentiment. Thank you.

It’s not right to say the Dravidian culture merged with indo Aryan culture in the time of the Nandas. Recent genetic studies proved that the Indo-Aryans Who came around 2000-1500 BC merged with the Dravidians and the pre existing tribal societies to form a composite Indian culture. Obviously they were a lot of regional differences but from what I see in ancient Tamil Sangam literature, There’s enough evidence to prove that these cultures started mixing way before 400 BC. Sramana moments have been found all over ancient India even though it originated in Magada and many typically Hindu gods such as Krishna were equally prominent in the north and South (it is assumed that the cult of Krishna originated from Tamilnadu). Ancient north and South Indian literature have many characters in common such as Agastya who is said to have various works attributed to him in Sanskrit but is also considered the founder of Tamil.

Migration and settlement have probably done much more to alter culture, language and ethnicity than any massive scale invasion like the invasion theory might posit. People used to just...move around a lot more often back before we had the ability to make solid borders and if enough of them moved into a space, that space would change.

@@anixes I am from India, and in my opinion, it indeed should be called mythology because the modern versions of the Mahabharata and Ramayana were written hundreds of years after the Mahabharata and Ramayana events took place. Where's North Asia? In Northern Asia, which includes Siberia, and sometimes Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, there's a lot of very interesting history. The indigenous people of Siberia are very diverse and with very interesting history. There's, of course, a lot of Turkic and Mongolic tribes, but also unique tribal societies only found there, some of which could be similar to indigenous American people, especially Arctic indigenous North Americans (Eskimo-Aleut and Na-Dene people which namely includes the Inuit but it isn't the onle one of those ethnic groups). For example, Yenisean peoples, or Chukchi people.

@EchoBravo370
@EchoBravo370 Жыл бұрын
That's just not true. Satellite images can show how land has been used through the ages - there is simply no hard evidence that the First Nations peoples of Australia had advanced agriculture. That claim is from a man who wants to reinterpret some writings of colonists. But it is a massive stretch of an interpretation. Satellite images are incredibly clear on many things. eg we know from satellite images that the no massive groups wandered inn the desert for 40 years in the middle east. There is simply no evidence of it, archaeologically, or using satellite images. Had that been the case, the land in the area would be very different than it is today. Using this same technology, we KNOW first nations Australians were hunter gatherers. Groups of renowned archeologists have even come out and said it is impossible.

Timur was a Turk, not a Mongol. Perhaps you mean Babur? Babur was a descendant of Timur from his father's line and was a descendant of Genghis Khan on his mother's side.
