Not all women over thirty were given the vote. In addition, they had to be registered as a local government elector and not be subject to any 'legal incapacity'. This left 22% of women over thirty still disenfranchised from parliamentary elections - this is important if you are studying the subject.

"Local Government Elector" - owning or married to someone who owned property over the value of £5. I suspect that meant around 20- 25% of women over 30 in the UK. But, if you have sources, I'll concede.

The British colonies where women could vote were firstly; Pitcairn Island in 1838, then New Zealand, then South Australia. Why Britain took so long to get to the same destination is simply odd.
