Times People Designed Things With Children’s Needs In Mind And Excelled At Their Job
Good design makes our life easier. That’s why it’s important for the creators to try and imagine themselves in other people’s shoes when sketching things for their use. Whether it’s a playground or an office building, those responsible for the design have to consider the needs of different groups of people, for instance, those with disabilities, seniors, or children, just to name a few; and that might not be easy. However, some people excel at the task and provide exemplary results.
We are Happy Land.
Every day is an exciting experience with vivid, humorous, failure or happy emotions. We wish you would enjoy watching them.

@@Messwiththehonkyougetthebonk It's only a fail if you don't go down the slide. Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you can't do fun things. Too many 'adults' are too caught up in the nonsense in what an adult 'should be'. If they want to be idiots and miss out in some good old fashion fun it's their loss.

Ok, that see-saw idea is AWESOME and much needed ! My young niece and her lil bro couldn't use one together when I took them to the park - and this was a bummer cuz they were already getting bored with the few other things at this small park - . This would have made a huge difference.

I liked the pool cue with the ball attached to the end so kids don't stab the cloth. A mate and I were having lunch in a pub a few week ago and a young kid was playing pool with his Mum. it was touch a go whether he would stab the cue through the cloth on most of his efforts. We died a little each time he made a mess of his shot, but luckily the table survived. 🙂

I think the ball attached would be awesome for a gentleman I know who has Parkinson's disease. He had to give up playing pool, this would perhaps allow him the opportunity to do so again! I'm going to suggest it to his kids.

Some really excellent stuff there. "Free pieces of fruit for kids" is common in supermarkets here in Australia. Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia has a Road Safety Training Centre complete with working traffic lights at intersections & crossings, for kids on bikes or on foot to use. Adelaide in South Australia has a gated area set aside just for learner drivers, with small hills, intersections, parking bays etc. Aussie supermarkets have shopping carts designed to carry kids; a small shelf for them to sit on facing the parent, with 2 holes to put their legs through - and miniature carts with a pennant on a pole (to help check where your kids are) for kids to imitate their parents is common too.

my (sydney) primary school had a real ship in the playground... later removed and replaced with some mock modern sanitised and "safe" version. hawsers got removed too. big fat anchor ropes tied amongst the trees for killing ourselves on. large concrete pipes perched at the top of a steep slope that for the life of us, we couldnt get rolling... oh we tried, how we tried... tree out the front, ritual to climb it every day. fenced off, all its lower branches to 4M hacked off flush. over a century of kids climbing it every day... destroyed. sad. what an ugly world we create. some of these sorta give me hope. slight. some.

I guarantee the guns used are not legally owned. If they were they could trace them through the markings on the shell casings. My former home state has some it the most restrictive gun laws.
