Just snowballing an idea, forcing someone to slide down a handrail naked with a nice sharp object at the end of the railing 😂😂😂

All three of these movies were gross, but I watched them, because I knew what I was getting into. On the other hand, I just watched "The Substance" and I did NOT know what I was getting into. I watched a few scenes through my hands, and looked away a few times. If you hate needles...

I'm so confused about these walk outs and feeling sick, like what did the think they came to watch? I can't imagine a person never watching first 2 films or any really gorey slasher to just decide : "Here's an idea! I'm gonna go watch a low-budget, brutal slasher. In the cinema, that is." Seriously?! Plus in being an hommage to grindhouse movies all killing scenes are so over the top that they just scream at you how fake and excessive everything is! I totally get why these films can be not someone's cup of tea, but to blame them for shocking, traumatizing, crossing some lines experience is really weird to me. There are plenty of very natural, unexpected and therefore traumatizing stuff in series and films that are not slashers! But, I guess all of this makes them an extra advertisement, so I shouldn't complain)

It's like to read a splatterpunk, a whole book from a genre that you don't like, and then to be shocked about how disgusting and horrible it is. Do your homework)
@GORILLAZ41Ай бұрын
Not really over the top when you do know that people get brutally murdered like that. I mean some of the kill scenes when he's finished are from actual crime scenes. And when you see the crime scene pictures terrifier kills aren't really over the top
@mistyraven6499Ай бұрын
@GORILLAZ41 Wth does it have to do with real people murders?! Literally ANY death irl is much more terrifying and devastating then anything you can see on screen. I'm talking about this particular film with its prosthetic limbs with rubber physics and geysers spurting gallons of fake blood, that are absolutely over the top like in any film of this genre.

@@GORILLAZ41 i will never get why people loves sad movies or sad music. Its like... are their lives soo good that they have to turn on a movie or listen to a song to visit that emotion? To be horror is a small escape from sadness, because being scared for a few seconds makes it take a little break. 😅😅
