I fell for it till the end! I kept thinking the witnesses statements sounded kind of similar to how Dan talks/were too funny to be real. I kept thinking Dan was going to be like “jk I made that part up” like the description of the stepdads pie shaped head with no neck. I listened to the first half earlier in the day and was telling my husband all about how crazy the story was so far and we finished the episode together this evening and were both just flabbergasted at the end. What a masterpiece. Well done Dan. I should have known as soon as I saw his name was Richard and that it was released on April 1st. 😅

what is really kind of sad, is that with all the wierd sick people who did exist this could have really happened. There were a few times I kept waiting for him to say joking, but should have figured, that the hairbrush standing on a tree limb was a bit out there, but because of my cousin Angus I just thought like well its possible. GREAT Episode NOBODY hurt laughed so hard. I am a super fan; my girl is overcritical of the show. I listened to most of it on the way to my therapy appointment yesterday (Don’t worry Dan, you aren’t the complete reason for my mental fucked up-ness) and was like,”this has to be one of the best episodes I’ve heard so far.” I decide to subject my girlfriend to the last 10 minutes of the episode today. She was dying laughing and was shocked at how messed up this guy was. Then, the episode’s 5th takeaway went off and she was pissed!!! Needless to say, this episode still got her super interested and I got to show her Bear incorporated and Wipple (both totally real brands and advertisements). 5/5 you scoundrel. You got me.
