I don't recall ever having watched this film, but from the glimpse in this scene, Elvis clearly had a talent for comedy; he was really good at it! He was a naturally funny guy with a sense of humour ahead of it's time and this role, and the role of funny, haphazard/carefree characters, that it appeared he was always cast as in the majority of his films, generally suited him the most. As much as he disliked the majority of his movie career, "Elvis films" have their prestigious place in the movie industry, imo. I, for one, love them!

This is one of my favorite "bad" Elvis movies along with "Girl Happy." The last twenty minutes or so are the closest Elvis ever came to being in a Three Stooges short, with two of the Three Stooges writers handling the screenplay.
