There was a scheme in the Congress government to declare black money voluntarily promising the secrecy and promising not to file any cases on them. Bcos of that scheme, some black money converted to white money and some good amount of tax collected one time. The promise was important. The government cannot go against the promise. The court should have considered it in the case of electoral bonds. Only bcos of electoral bonds the court could ask for who paid and who received how much. What about cash payments? There is a lot of money paid to political parties by cash(black money). And most of this money getting pocketed by a few politicians and the party will not get the full money. The court should have made it mandatory to pay only by electoral bonds and the information should be in public going forward.
