My husband gifted me the ESV Spiral Bound Journaling Bible Set. He received a great deal @ $75 for the set. I’m looking forward to reading through and writing down my prayers in them. My favorite Bible is the CSV women in Study Bible. I don’t think it’s new this year. The only one that I pretty sure his New Year’s new this year is the one with courage. I like that I like color in my word. I was reading my CSV at the doctors office so my doctor set an all what a beautiful book. What is it and I told her it was my Bible and I let her look at it. I do not think the family is Christian.

I bought the Holman CSB Men of Character Bible in the genuine leather cover and aside from there not being red letter text, I love it! It’s thumb indexed, gives great breakdowns on various male characters throughout the Bible and honestly it is a Bible that just makes me feel happy when I hold or use it!

My favorite and daily reader is the Holman OC MUFHH CSB. I have MUFHH but I forget to read it. Now as part of my read through I have it and never miss a day. The Bible is beautiful and so well made. I love it! I wouldn't have found it without Tim. Thank you Tim and many Blessings throughout the New Year. You are a national treasure.

The blue goatskin LSB PPR (just like the one you showed at #8) is my favorite daily-carry Bible. The CSB Oswald is the most beautiful new Bible layout and presentation I’ve seen this year. Gotta love the unique copper look. The one I’d suggest adding to your list is the Allan 1863 Longprimer Sovereign Desk Edition in Purple Highland Goatskin over hard boards with purple antiquarian style page edges. She’s a beauty!

@@mnsohseven I got Sahara Blue with fore-edge gilt option 1 (the one with Good Shepherd Jesus charging over to protect his sheep from the wolf). I almost got London Red though. That was definitely my second choice for color.

Steadfast is doing an amazing job. I have discovered that I am enjoying the LSB, perhaps because it's so very close to the NASB. I continue to have the Oswald Chambers Bible in my wishlist, but I haven't pulled the plug yet. I have a Bible obsession (addiction?) so I need to make absolutely sure the Bible I have sitting in waiting is one I am sure I will use.

LSB PPR was my favorite. I got it in the black calfskin and it is a loaded home run. I would probably be most interest in the CSB single column as a second. I did pick up their pastors Bible from a couple years back which is similar conceptually but larger format, and really enjoy the translation and single column approach.

We are close! My favorite premium bible this year is the Schyler ESV PSQ/MSQ in Tuscany calfskin. The ESV is my preferred translation (along with the NASB), and I love the two-column format with bottom page cross references, the unique line spacing that does make it easier to read and I think the drop caps are beautiful. I love the size and Tuscany calfskin might be the nicest bible leather I have ever seen (and I have several goatskin premium bibles).

My fav of 2024 was the LSB Portable Paragraph Reference edition. Absolutely love it and it pairs perfectly with the Giant Print Reference edition for home. I may already know my 2025 favorite though, I have a Schuyler PSQ NKJV Saddle Brown Aniline Calfskin Zipper edition on preorder. I think it’s gonna be my #1 travel Bible.

I knew your favorite was going to be the NLT.... I am loving reading different translations through this past year. I think I might like the CSB maroon and grey ones from Holman! I do hope for a Humble Lamb at some point....when the fonts get a WEE BIT LARGER. Older eyes need help. Happy New Year! I did buy Becca's fave this past year and REALLY enjoy it. The CSB Single-Column Personal Size Bible in the Holman Handcrafted Collection is truly awesome! 😊There's also the exact same Single-Column Personal Size Bible in the Holman Handcrafted Collection for the NASB 2020 as well which I think is equally awesome. As an aside, I think the NASB 2020 is underrated. For one thing, it is surprisingly (to me) very readable. At the very least, unlike the previous NASB77 and NASB95 which might have been fairly accused of being wooden and stilted, I don't think the charge of woodenness holds much water with the NASB 2020. In fact, though many people compare the CSB with the NIV, or sometimes the CSB with the ESV, I think a more apt comparison is between the CSB and the NASB 2020. That is, the NASB 2020 complements the CSB quite well in that both are highly reliable and highly readable, with the CSB being a bit more on the readable end than the NASB 2020, and the NASB 2020 being a bit more on the reliable end than the CSB, but they both work well with one another. Just my opinion, that's all. 😊

Wow! You really DID have a great year, din'tja? Your #1 was also my #1....but of ALL TIME, and I've been buying TOO MANY bibles of late, so I'm going to stop now. (Riiiight...) But seriously. I was getting a little tired of myself. I have never been a "collector". I was just looking for the one Bible to Rule them all, and found it in the "MSQ"...but in the ESV Edition. And my #2 favorite is the PPR LSV (In Cowhide, for me). So those two will be my go-to's. Anything else I do, I can do in my OliveTree software, which has ballooned to a lot of titles! But THANK YOU for your ministry. I'll keep on watching. My best to you and yours.

Good choices, Tim. My favorite Bible of the year is the Cambridge CSB Diadem. I also love the Humble Lamb KJV Lion Refresh and NKJV Shepherd Refresh. I just recently purchased the Cambridge NRSVue in leather that you listed as #10. Since I just acquired it, I haven't read too much yet but it looks and feels wonderful. Great video and I appreciate your work. In the reviews I would like to know the font size, if possible. I know it only matters to us old folks, but it makes a big difference if I am going to buy one. I too love the Oswald Chambers Bible, but when I physically looked at a copy it had 9.25 font with very little spacing. Even with readers on it is a lot of work to try and read it. Anyway, just if you can. I know I can go look it up. Thank you for all that you do. I was not able to participate in this year's Christmas giveaway but sounds like it was a great year, and a lot of folks were blessed. Again, thank you for blessing so many people each year.

I think I would like the new Esv Heritage. I haven't gotten one because I have the old version that is smaller. But I think I'd prefer the new one because it has wider margins for some notes.

The covers of all of them peel and flake. Maybe its just me. I was on a hunt for something better and I found your channel. I have really really enjoyed learning from you and have decided I'll just have to start saving my pennies for a premium edition. Hi Tim. I taught Attic/Ionic/Koine Greek to classics students in Europe for 25 years. There are passages that are impossible to translate to English. There is punctuation that is placed incorrectly. Our English translations are neo-platonic and not Jewish. Two examples. "I tell you, that this day you shall be with me in paradise." This comma is incorrectly placed. Jesus made a solemn Jewish promise and said, "I tell you this day, that you shall be with me in paradise." Jesus never told the thief that he was going to be with Christ in "heaven" that very day. Another example: "Unless a man is born of water and spirit..." I would translate that to "Unless a man is born of spiritual water, yes, SPIRITUAL water..." The second noun becomes a highly superlative adjective that modifies the first noun. Translators hide the word "synagogue" in James and replace it with "assembly." James refers to faith in the Jewish Shema, not faith in Christ.
