I'm not sure about whether Tina's right about them not having seen the movie because of the way they laughed at some of the jokes. I've seen Mean Girls so many times that I cannot even come close to counting how many, and I STILL laugh out loud all the time! :) Tina is flat out one of the most talented people around. iMovie is generally considered to be a crappy app/program that makes fake movie trailers. They specified that it's an iMovie to communicate that it's a homemade video. Videos made on iMovie have a specific (ammeteur) style. We don't call all videos iMovies; just the ones that are made using that program. It's not because we are brainwashed by the branding, as an iMovie is very different from a movie. She did make a video, but specifying that it's an iMovie just helps explain how she made the video and describes what kind of video it is.
