Hello scrappers and planet lovers. This video will show you all the free gold, silver, copper, and other metals that are found in a flat screen computer monitor. I will show you how to safely and effectively separate the metals in order to maximize your profits and divert as much recyclable materials away from the landfill as possible.

It would be great if you tell the weights of the items recovered at the end of the video.

Unfortunately I would not be able to tell the weight of gold recovered in one screen because not enough gold to tell a weight because gold plated. People store them up the items and then refine it. The circuit board weighs prob. 5 ounces but that is not the gold content weight.

EWaste is really not worth a lot here in Ontario at scrap yards, but it does have some goodies on the boards and better than going in the landfills. Stay well and talk soon.

Yeah man I wish there was some way to recycle/sell the plastic from these I always feel terrible just trashing them.

That copper you are saving could also be aluminum coated with copper…………This happen to me, I was so happy going sell all the copper I saved…….. That copper turned out to be ( Copper coated aluminum ).

Only way to tell is scratching it first. Yes, I am been fooled too from faux copper.

Not sure. Some say yes, but depends if you can find a market to sell your items also

23 inch I think, but all flat computer monitor and tv screens have the same components.
