Taking me down memory lane of my construction years. I remember many days working in snow and cold weather but still loved doing construction work. Nice work my friend. ♥️👍

Hey Tinman! It’s sure satisfying to get a project done on the shop isn’t it? I’ve been working on mine this fall to get it insulated and vapour barriered so the wood stove will actually keep it warm in there this winter! It’s nice and toasty now with the wood stove rolling away 👌 Next I’ve got to get the garage door lift mechanism replaced so I can open the big door, it never ends eh lol 😂

You wouldn’t wanna be doing this in Ontario because you’d have the byelaw officer knocking on your door if they ever watched this video 😂😂😂 those are the best jobs working alone in the country. I miss it. I used to own 86 acres in the country and you learn to work pretty good on your own.😂 recently got into fixing up chainsaws and watching your channel. I picked up a 288 XP today. I’m going to tear her down and see what she looks like and bring her back to her former glory. See you on the next one 👍

It's in the 60s down here in Houston and I wish I was back up North. Keep the great videos coming.

Good to see you doing good 👍 piece of flashing to stop wind driven rain from coming in at the existing wall on your roof and some foam between the concrete and bottom plate. I don’t think you’d regret either of those 💪

Nice little project. I would have gone all the way to the corner and put some gravel down. Then the wet snow on the wood, would have a place to go and you would have gained more storage. One more sheet of plywood though and another bundle of shingles. Just my thoughts but that will work. You could have built a cricket on your roof to help with run off. In the end opinions are like a**holes... everyone has one...😂. Good stuff. TC Mahalo Tinman 🤙🤙🤙

Put a door over to the one side of the front, to give a double set of doors and firewood inside on one side.

These are the best projects! Use what you have and figure it out. I’ll bet it sheds off a lot drafts.

Have you considered porting your wood stove?

You need lo pitch the roof not flat it will collect snow then start leaking considering it's just a small add on pitch it hard

Looks great. What type of insulation and did you bolt the walls to the concrete?

I use nails , screws tend to break , they have no shear strength . There is a ancient technology called a hammer , that’s my preferred choice . 🇨🇦👍
