i think ppl are forced to believe from a very early age that only cats and dogs have personalities (and some ppl think only DOGS are worthy of anything, some ppl say they don't like cats without EVER being around one, so...); since they're not around other animals commonly, ppl tend to believe in this lie even more, i guess... but that's not true. that's my opinion. peace.

I once found an opossum living in my garage during the holiday season and it was getting colder outside so I just let the little guy live in my garage. He founded himself a cozy spot in the garage and even made himself a bed out of stuff he founded in the garage. Anyway it was Thanksgiving week and I went and bought 8 pies 🥧 from the bakery because we were planning on traveling that year and I wanted to bring pies. Brought the pies home which were neatly placed in two boxes and sat them on the table in the garage and went to bed. Next thing in the morning when we were getting ready to leave i went into the garage to grab the pies only to discovered the opossum had himself a delicious dinner of pies. He somehow managed to claw his way into six pies and leaving two untouched. Lol. I ended up having to spend more money buying pies and they're expensive so I wasn't the happiest but at least the opossum enjoyed it. He lived in the garage through the winter and I would check up on him to make sure he wasn't destroying my garage and then one day I went to check on him and he was gone. He must have moved out. The end. Lol

OzFPVflyer Well, humans are animals too and I’m sure if you look back far enough, Armadillos and humans have a common ancestor somewhere in our extensive genealogy. They also must not know armadillos carry leprosy . Never touch them without disposable gloves. Never let them run all over your house. 10-15 year incubation period, then slow death. Arnie may outlive her.

I visited key west a couple of years ago. There was a dude just casually running around with an armadillo on his shoulder. He was happy to show it to us and it climbed around on my head and my shoulders. That was quite fascinating because they don't exist here in europe and I never saw one "in person" before. Funny little creatures.
