Oh I’m so happy for you and Sophie. Now you can relax and putz around inside and out making your home your happy place . You sure have a good head start in your flowers garden. Don’t stress too much about the Clematis . It will regrow . As long as I remember to keep the roots cool mine have a survived 17 years so far. The little drive was nice too. Very beautiful. Be careful with Sophie if you have her outside now that you know that there is an owl hanging around. Shes looking very happy today. Oh and I got a kick out of your metal garden art. Hahah! 😂 Looking forward to your next video .😊

Place a strip of artificial grass on ground before steps to wipe shoes or on the lower treads will also cut down on tracking in the dirt. You may find a "miss cut" at one of the big box stores. See you next week.

Clearly it's time for another trip up-Island. That drive into CR is one of my favourites. There are so many interesting artists on VI and the Gulf Islands. I'm stuck in Victoria for the time being and sorely miss that area, where I used to live. I get up there when I can. My heart hurts. I will be back some day.

For my part, thank you sincerely for giving me hope that my dream of going semi-tiny in your native Portugal when I retire in two years time may actually work out nicely too. The U.K. where I work, is far too expensive on a small pension, as is my home country of Ireland, but a tiny home in rural Portugal is likely doable. I speak Portuguese and the fact that your parents and you all have managed to achieve your dream in Canada, gives me a great sense of peace and hope that I can succeed in the other direction also. Glad that you arrived safely and that your house is becoming home again. The ground in my area is extremely rocky as well. Actually we live on top of a flagstone quarry, so putting a shovel into the ground is always rocks. Love the potted flowers, especially my favorite - lavender. Adelina: You are looking happy and calm! I knew you would love it up island-the area has so much to offer to soothe the soul! You have a famous neighbour,Dr.Suzuki.He has a summer home on Quadra Island and is often there walking the shore! Dr Haig Brown lived in Campbellton(by Campbell River)When I was a kid we used to visit my uncle who went fishing with Dr. Brown. Buttle Lake was a favourite watering hole! @@myBIGtinyhouselife I know you will love it. When I was a small child My parents and I lived with my grandparent’s right on the beach, it was about 4 houses from the the wharf. I was allowed to wander up and down the beach, it was my playground. My aunt and uncle lived next door. That was in the late 1940’s, we had such freedom as a child back then. Now there are two big condominiums on the beach where my Grandparent’s house used to be. You will love it there, and the river,woods, and Elk Falls. I am so happy you have a nice place, and peace. Wishing much peace and contentment. 😻
