When Jackery reached out to review their new Solar Generator 2000 v2, we decided to run a test to see how long it can our tiny house. Our plan is to take off the grid at our homestead. An important thing we share is how our tiny home's fluctuating low-power consumption AND the amount of solar input affects the overall power station run time.☀🏡 Check out their Official Store w/BIG sales! You guys did an excellent review! I purchased this Jackery with solar panels yesterday (waiting for it to ship) and y’all answered every question I had. I got it for my 1996 dodge pleasure-way I moved into. Thanks you guys

I'm glad that you guys were honest about concerning your own solar panels not being able to charge the power station. Not many reviewers would mention this. ✌✌✌

They could use one of their 360W panels to charge the Jackery and be under the 400W max input.
@alanvan892912 күн бұрын
@@OMGWTFLOLSMHnope, 200w max input per input jack...200 max thru each input equals 400w total...per their customer rep that I just got off the phone with...

Nice review, thanks! Right now it's on sale on Amazon for 899$ an there is a 100$ coupon so 800usd sounds like a real deal. The greatest limitation I see is that it can only take 400watts of solar input. Still, these power stations are a great invention, all in one and able to connect solar panels directly, ready to use. Great stuff!

I bought the 500 Jackery after the winter storm in Texas in 2021 and I just luv it. I sure wish I had hit before that winter storm. We were without power for 7 days; it was awful. I am trying to save up for the 2000.

Happy to hear it’s been so helpful for you! A little bit of portable power goes a long way when you need it most 😊

Suggestion: You need to add a Tesla Power Wall in addition to your solar panels to maximize your total capacity. That's the ideal (your extra solar powered generated (daytime) would be stored in the Powerwall for later use (night). True, the point on the need to not just have solar but POSITION is a starting point to maximize your solar input. But, this is a great video overall. Thanks.😊

Those solar panels have a dot - circle in the panel to line up and to get the optimal position solar sun from them. 😮

Gréât vidéo for tiny housers. Love the workaround of 30A to regular hh plug adaptor. To run whole house in winter the battery would need to be inside for best performance but hard to do that with tiny homes built to connect to external outside power source. Also, one important detail is life cycle . Typically Jackery is half the number of discharge and charge cycles of competitors like Bluetti, which is a factor in longevity, is it not?
@TinyHouseExpedition2 ай бұрын
Thank you! And good news, Jackery has finally caught up on lifecycles because they now use LiFePO4 batteries. This has 4000 cycles to 70%+ capacity. The comparable Bluetti power station has 3,500+ cycles to 80%+ capacity.
