I love wood for heat as well. I encourage you to get a tarp to cover your wood chunks to avoid moisture from snow and rain. Much love, respect, and prosperity to you and your children. Oh, it is so expensive! Even building it myself (though that's a bargain compared to what the professional tiny builders were charging). I was so lucky to have a one-time lump of cash, which I needed to use wisely. Without that, it would have been a very different project.
