Rob Paulsen and Joe Alasky must both have 3 lungs to sing this song. I mean I tried to not breath for as long as Plucky's last part of the song and I started feeling pain...

This cartoon was ingenius. I watched it years back. Now that can recognize all of the satire, I've got to go watch all the episodes again.

Like Tiny Toon Adventures, arcades are basically extinct also. The arcades only exist now for nostalgia. Back in the 80s and early 90s there were 10 TIMES more arcades. Arcade games would exist in every convenience store, and even in some funeral homes. But by the mid 90s, home consoles caught up with the arcade graphics and people wanted to rent or buy games rather than wasting money every week to play. Plus you couldn't make money off of the arcade anymore with just 25 cents per play.
@ComplexGville15 жыл бұрын
the LYRICS, THE LYRICS ARE BRILLIANT! This went past our minds when we were young. but its so true and reflective to kids and arcades/video games. YOU ALWAYS WANT TO WIN, AND HATE TO LOSE. LOL "YOU FIRE EAST, WEST, NORTH AND SOUTH. THE FOAM IS RUNNING FROM YOUR MOUTH." yep thats that addiction at the arcade. lol

This song has so many meanings and a paradox. If Plucky makes his own arcade on Mars and charges the Aliens who made the original game money to play his game just to have more quarters to play their game its an endless cycle .
creativity in cartoons has really gone down hill when you used to have classical music written with lyrics to fit an episode for shows like Tiny Toon Adventures and The Animaniacs
@Saestrol15 жыл бұрын
Vegetate, Vacillate, Terminate Mesmerize, Immobilize, Vaporize Annihilate, Subjugate, Immolate... Those are some pretty big words. I wonder how many kids watching this at that time knew THOSE words (I know I didn't!)

Hey! I remember this! Back when cartoons were funny and not dumbed down, right? Tiny Toons? The Warner Brothers and their sister Dot? That Freakaziod!? Pinky and the Brain? Dexter and his Lab? Those Rugrats? That kid Doug Funnie? Hey... Arnold!??? Batman and Superman? Remember those?
@Rylosalex6 жыл бұрын

Right? Watch a modern kids cartoon and see if you can find words like “subjugate” in any of them lmao
@Prankmeister199015 жыл бұрын
That was the magic of the cartoons of yesteryear; they never insulted your intelligence like many do now. Some still take chances, such as an episode of Batman: Brave and the Bold doing an entire episode to tribute 'The Great Piggy Bang Robbery'. Would be nice to see more shows take chances like this though instead of staying so tightly confined.

Back in the day I never knew who the rooster was. I thought he was just a minor character. Turns out he began as an attempt to show kids how swearing is bad, but the episode was too controversial so he became just a minor character.

There was a time around "rocko's modern life" type of cartoons that I totally disliked any of them, thank heavens national tv in Mexico repeated lots of WB cartoons like tiny toons and Batman... that's how I survived the 90s (we didn't have broad band back then, remember?)
